The obvious reply would be to state that perhaps you should start a post asking everyone how to make money...but that wouldn't be nice...so I'll refrain from posting that.

Just a thought from a guy who has been around internet forums for a while...don't insult someone and you won't be insulted. Pretty simple.

I thought at least you would commend the OP on a good kill Redhot, well since that engine is the forefather of your motor and is what powers your 13 second slug to decent 1/4 times given the obvious weight issue. But G8's are an excellent all around vehicle, just not as fast as a squeaky old 4th gen F-body

But I digress, to each his own I suppose.

Well Sir, at the moment it sits at a 12.03 at 113.6 mph, stock internals with no weight reduction, but I was speaking stock to stock and light bolt ons. The goal is max out what I can do on stock internals and then further modding will ensue.

I sooooo wanna cam it, just too many options, thinking ported ls6 heads with stealth cam and 100 shot, just to surprise people Too bad it's hard to keep it stealthy with the wifey constantly on my *** lol.

BTW nice 10 second grocery getter you got there, bet it's a blast to have the whole family in it as you slay Vipers lol.

There's some LS2 swap 350z's around... I'd kill to have an LS3 swap for the 370z but 1) wouldn't be streetable, 2) probably wouldn't fit.

I can still dream, however.

You would be surprised what a LSX motor will fit into lol.
I would want the next gen Z car to be a VQ sourced V8 along the lines of the 4.5 ltr motor they use for the Infiniti FX crossovers. That motor with a little more output in a 3500 lb car would be music to my ears

I supposed the 4.5L work but I was thinking along the lines of their 5.6L they use in the m56 and qx56. A 5.6L with a 7.5k rev limit in a 3300-3400 lbs car without losing that "Z" feeling? I'd pay $45k for that.

True... look into the Dynomax VT mufflers to keep it quiet!

It was slow stock, I HAD to throw a cam in! So many people get caught off guard, they just see a sedan and write it off, then they get walked and stare like WTF???

*** YEA...
Would love that day, but in the meantime, just shoehorn an LS9 in your Z and call it a day, cost be damned because it would be very "streetable". Just never have traction below 70 mph lol.

I doubt that you are much older than me. You are probably just as slow now as you were then.

That's ok my custom Harley is much faster since it's built, plus it sounds better and looks really hot. And it's a lot more fun than riding in a cage that's for sure!

I'm sorry, but every time I hear of a Harley owner, I cannot help but think of the Harley episode on South Park
