The cobalt ss/tc and hhr ss platform was only made for 3 years and just came out in 08. Proven turbo kits just became readily available late 2009-2010 and 2 bolt on turbo upgrades came out in Nov. 2010 a GT2860 and GT2871 bolt on turbo.
ZZP is getting ready to release a bolt on BW turbo stuffed with EFR guts that will make 450 whp minimum on a stock motor, bolt on's and tune. They actually have a dyno of over 500 whp with a built motor on a Mustang dyno.
A stock LNF motor can make 320-360 whp and 340-400 wtq, for less then 1k dollars with no turbo upgrade, just bolt ons and tune. Stock power is 260hp/260tq at the crank.
Cmiller has run a 11.95 (with slips to prove it) with those mods.
So why you guys may snicker at the Cobalt SS/TC and HHR SS, don't be surprised if here soon with all the recent developments, like the bolt on turbo upgrades, running E85 with a tune only (this alone was proven on a dyno to be a 34 whp gain on a stock HHR SS just by using E85), adjustable launch control, that people start taking notice.
Heck there has already been a huge surge in the last 4-6 months of people wanting to buy SS/TC's, now that people know what they can do and the awesome gas mileage they get while doing it.

im sure im in high 12 sec territory if we go from a roll......but im barely a high 13 sec car if we go from dig.
ie: if u run 13 at the track, yer gona pull away from a light. if u run 13 at the track and we go from a 35 roll, im sittin next to you grinning while bangin gears.

Oo oo, can I be the fat ugly girl that usually is on the far side of the pic? I've always wanted to be one of those. ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
Sawthat first hand. I'd get out quick, but you didn't disappear in my review mirror.

I'm disappointed at the lack of said cheerleader pic. You asked if you needed to make anoter and we said yes. Maybe he's working on a real epic one. Btw, my BMW is the fat chick of the 3 series, but it gets down and dirty from a dig.

I since have lost my slips, but I remember it 0-60 in 4.4-4.5 pretty consistently. I want to say the 60' was something like 1.8, but I really can't recall that number. I'll probably get it to the strip again this spring to see how the new tune and bolt ons do.
