93 camaro vs. ls1 rx7 Me and my buddy were cruising around in his car and saw an early model rx7 at a light. Looked to be mid to late 80s but I'm not sure. I don't know those cars very well. The car had dual exhaust out the back which made me wonder a little as to what it had.
Luckily he turned the same way as us and caught up to us. My buddy threw some revs his way to see if he wanted to play then I rolled my window down and talked to him. He told us he put an ls1 in it and then said "hit it."
So we hit it and get a half car to a car length jump then he pulled even and started pulling on us. Hard. From 40 to 80 he had at least two and a half lengths on us. Maybe more but my depth perception isn't the greatest. Lol
We caught up to him and he said he had heads/cam and spray but didn't spray on our run.
Overall he was a really cool guy and has one badass car. I'm jealous. Hopefully he's on here and comments on this.
