How much power is the Cobalt putting down? More details on the mods...about how much does it cost to get a Cobalt this fast?

i have:
GM tune keeps warranty ($600)
muffler delete (saws all)
k&n drop in
best et 13.7
best trap 106.5 (avges 105 though)

if u go with an after market tune (275-400) u can make some crazy power, tune only (like 300/320)

plus u can program it to only be in tune mode at the push of any designated botton push (like the traction, or launch more or cruise button, etc)

Yep, and never had a problem for a few years. Lots of nice guys in the drag racing and FI sections. Better general tech here, though.

I'm a founding member of Stangnet, and have been on the mustang boards since 1999. Never seen so much testosterone fueled rambling by so many slow cars, in video after video. But it gives me the kicks and I do enjoy watching the videos, regardless of how fast cars are. I think it is cool that guys want to test out what they have, just as long as it is safe.

I don't talk a lot of **** on the boards and never have, cause my 135-140mph car in the 1/4 in Houston is childs play.

he's never put it on a dyno but other SS's with the same mods are putting down 300-320ish. Mods are a turbo back exhaust, intake, 23psi, and a tune. he's got right at $1000 in mods. Not bad at all for what it is.

As with most boosted from factory cars. Less than 1k for a filter/intake and tune will get you moving.

i have 2 seats in back.

makes it much more fun when they:
A. see the car seats
B. see the SLOBALT emblem when they pull back
C. cant use the traction excuse. im on 18/235's
D. they acually ask, and i tell them basic tune only

As was already said, around 300whp and 350-360+wtq and around $1k spent.

FWIW, my car with just a tune and a splash of E, put down 311/360. I posted a thread in the dyno section if you're interested.
