Turned to the dark side.........
I finally broke down an picked up a 2009 corvette. Yah, yah, its an auto with 2.56 gears but damn!!! This thing must be a low 12 second stock beast. It pulls and pulls and pulls. I, As you all know, am a mustang fan. I am in a "club" of mustang officianados and we meet on a regular basis. At the weekly gathering, I pull up sociably late in the new silver vette. Of course I get booed and hissed at but we are all friends.
The ****-talking begins. Everyone wants to try to take out the vette in some friendly, non monitary races. A few of us get together and drive from louisiana to mexico for a few runs.
Most were quick runs on the interstate with some 2v gt's. Mid to low 13 sec cars. Easily pulled from jump. Shut down at 90 cause there was no reason to continue. Then the fun one began. My buddy has a 04 cobra vert with 450 or so at the wheels. 11.90 @ 119 was his best run. We were almost dead even to 140. Ran 2 more times and he was getting heat soaked and lost the last race.
I am really going to enjoy my, I mean, the wifes new car. Going to keep it stock for now, she really dosent need to go any faster than it is already, but was thinking about getting a good dyno tune. I live near ragin racing of Scott, louisiana and if you have never been to there web page it is worth a look.
What can I expect from the tune. What other mods to these react well to? Thanks for any information

I think you meant turned to the light side . Awesome that you got a Vette though. And glad to hear you were out having fun with it already.
But like everyone else has said, basic Bolt-Ons and a good tune should net you a decent amount of power. That's probably your best bet if you want to keep it simple.
Try and get some vids next time, oh and nice kills!
P.S. Your avatar cracks me up.

Just playing irunelevens. You are cool. And no, I'm not trying to make this a "what can a 2v run stock " debate. Lololol
