This pretty much happens on the regular basis... already happened 4 times in the past 2 months... I would have taken a vid, but kinda hard with a 6 speed compared to my auto T/A

So tonite after picking up some DR's locally for my 02 Z06 im cruising on my usual freeway going home. Im going the speed limit but i really had to go number 1 bad and since i was about 10 miles away from the house i stepped it up a notch to a good 85-90 mph....

As im cruising i friggin see HID lights behind me bobbing and flying up to me. So as im going about 90 mph i see this fool in a brand new G37S coupe still with dealer plates flying past me at over 110 mph...

I mean this really kinda pissed me off because same **** happens on the same freeway at the same time!!!! Im not kidding lol, after midnight, its like people go crazy with their sports cars... And by the look of them they looked so damn cocky

So after they did that... i slowed down to 73 mph and downshifted in 3rd gear (thats just perfect right there for my car)... As he lined up to my door, i rolled the window and waved for him to go and take a hit... So he proceeds of jumping on me, and as soon as he puts about a car on me, i take off quickly powershifting into 4th gear.

And let me tell you this.... This was waaaay easier than what i would have expected it to be, i mean by about 115-120 mph he was a good 2 busses back, EVEN WITH THE HIT I GAVE HIM!! I mean what a joke, i almost felt like flipping him off for wasting my time

Im assuming he was a stock 6 speed ( im assuming by the bobbing headlights lol)... But i can say this, he was a cocky **** thats for sure, rolling down the window and trying to stare me down

mods: dual cone intake, Hypertech tuner - performance wise, didnt feel a damn thing from them...

 

nice kill, what a clown... those g37's seem to be just as **** slow as the g35's were from my experience

That, and the seats are friggin uncomfortable. What dork decided the top of the seat cushion was a good place to put control switches? They dig into your thigh and all sorts of crap ends up gumming the switches (got kids, and rumor has it that they can be a bit untidy). I traded my 04 G35 for the G8. BIG difference.

My good friend has a G37 with intake and exhaust and he swore in the begining that he killed a M5 V10 EASILY, lol. Im like my car that has more to the wheels doesnt stand a chance and you beat an M5?!?!?!. So we raced and pulled him pretty bad, after that he changed his story and said maybe he didnt press the M button and had 400hp at the time and the guy didnt know how to drive. I have to admit when i drove his car i felt it was faster then my LS1, it feels very fast and im sure its a fast car and it does look much better though.

 

I have an 07 g35x. They're nice all around. They ain't slugs but they aren't beating any vettes stock.

I actually like those cars, they look nice with a performance closer to a stock ls1 fbody... thats not too bad in my book...
But people around my area are just too cocky with those cars

 

I know how ya feel. I found a group of imports on the way home tonight and decided to have a little fun. out of a group of 3-4 vehicles, only 2 of them seemed to be modded quite a bit. one was a honda civic and the other a 3000gt.

the honda driver was really cool and asked if I was "chipped" and then complimented me on my truck. we then caught a red light with his buddy in the 3000gt lining up next to me. we left easy and then got into it from an apprx 10mph roll. I put atleast a car on him within a block and then shut it down since it was over by then.

fun, but I thought it would be a better fight. would love to line up against a stock C6 to see how I would fair, but a Z06 will hand me my *** I'd still try it though

 

I feel your pain. everytime I see HID's behind me I know it's a riced out bmw/g35 or some sort of honda. Good kill, hope you enjoyed slaughtering that tool

BMWs and G35s come with HIDs from the factory...not sure how you can call OEM headlights "riced out"

I actually really like the G35/G37 line however I just can't stand the douches that end up driving them (not all G37 drivers are douches, but I've ran into a disporportionate share of those who were).

I'm going to share a G35 kill story shortly.

 

yeah it was ricer night at a local sonic last night, i'm guessing there were about 35 honda's and acuras with there little blinking hid lights and mosquito exhausts, i guess the new cool thing to do is drive around the parking lot in a single file line and rev to about 10k rpms, so after i was done ordering a medium strawberry limeaid for my wife i was heading home....but before i left i had to leave them a little something to remember me by so i lined up where i saw the biggest crowd of people stopped and hit the line lock lol lets just say i'm probably wanted in my area by about 60 puerto ricans now

They tend to get more butthurt finding out they spent all that money on a slow turd.
