Anything that is cheaper to buy from the start is going to be faster regardless of make. Grab a fox coupe with BBF and nitrous. Sub 10sec runs for dirt cheap.

But look what you get...a 20yr old car with no warranty. I'd love to have 500hp with warranty on a fairly new and probably low milage car. But with those 2 factors you're looking at least 50k. Different strokes for different folks.

The Ford GT is one sexy looking car though.

Here is the system if you are skeptical. I run the 3.25 for a 93 tune. That is a 2.875 pulley in the pic that I also run on the track on C16. The dyno below is a 3.25 pulley and no nitrous. That is how I run it on the street.

Man it takes quite a bit to get those things in the mid/low 10's. On my 03 Cobra it took a stg IV Eaton, pulley, 75-shot and a little !Weight to get there.

What kind of tire are you running?

Did you seriously just use that line talking about a video of a Ford GT vs. a 4th gen Camaro?

I didnt get spray for my GTO because of the hassle filling it seemed like it would be. Seems like a hassle period for anything buit the track. I am looking for a TVS 1900 and call it a day with 500 WHP with no headers. More then that and the tranny will not be happy....

What times does your car run ? I'd think mid low 10s.

BIG difference there, I mean, the spray is only worth what 5hp right?

/sarcasm
The displacement difference is negligible. One has a twin screw blower, the other nitrous. Seems even to me. Sure one is modded, but remember the other is much lighter, rear engine supercar.

The Camaro in the video should have smoked that GT even worse, especially considering how foolish it made many other blown Fords look. IIRC the car's owner found 8 melted plugs after that run.
