I was on my way back from just cruzing around when a mercedes pulled up beside me, and just took off like a bat outta hell. so i catch up to him as he/she is jumping on the interstate. i get beside him/her and we hit it. he pulls me by like 2 cars at first til about 120 then he just pulled way off??? i was like what the hell i just got smoked by a dam old woman going to get her great grandkids from school. i catch back up to it and see that it is a S600 and i realize why i got smoked.

Totally agree. I hate when people say cars are overpriced for their performance. Don't like it, don't buy it, pretty g'damn simple.

The other thing that does not take into account is that if the Merc owner threw in 20K of upgrades (and relatively speaking - thats pocket change to them), they reach low earth orbit

Will it EVER ride like that car? Will it EVER have the status of that car? Will it EVER be luxurious as that car?

Totally agree with everyone else regarding the "if I put $$$$ into........" argument. It's stupid. it was an honorable death.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't be saving my money for mods if I were the OP though.
