So after a big drought I finally got some runs in tonight. Nothing major but it was fun. In Mexico of course.
My mods: Lid/Catback
First race was against an SRT-4 with unknown mods. I could definitely see that he had an aftermarket exhaust, but other than that I'm not sure. I had one passenger in the car, and we rolled along side him. He was actually a bit older so I wasn't sure if he would know about honking it off. After some playing we both hit it at around the same time, I was in 2nd gear. I pulled a good two cars and he just let off. He proceeds to do a ricer fly-by and then we catch a light. Wasn't really ideal as he was talking to us when it turned green. It was kind of like a 1st gear roll on from about 5mph. As soon as my car got through first I was already ahead of him. It looked like he let off after I got to the top of second, and he was a few cars back.
Next race was against a friends Volvo 850 T5 auto. For those of you that don't know it's a 5 cylinder turbo sedan. He has an intake, turboback exhaust, and a manual boost controller. Not sure what PSI he was running. His best ET was 14.3, but I don't remember the mph. I knew I was going to win, but it was just for fun. We went from a light, I had 1 passenger and he had none. We launched about even in 1st, and as soon as I hit 2nd I started pulling pretty good. I had him by ~2 cars before we let off.
Last run was with my buddy's 06 Mustang GT. The only thing he has done is a tune, and it's an auto. His best ET is 13.40 @ 100. We went from a dig, both with no passengers. I spun a bit in first, while he hooked up. Once I got traction I reeled him in, and put a car on him. We spoke after and he said as soon as I was passing him he let off, which would explain why he fell back so quickly in my mirror lol.
Cliffs: '01 WS6 beats SRT-4, Volvo 850 T5, and '06 Mustang GT
Overall I had a good time. But tonight made me realize I need some stickier tires, and I need to work on my launch. There are some videos but I don't have them yet. When I get them I'll post them up.

Thanks! Yea, two of the races I knew what the outcome was going to be. I was unsure about the SRT-4 though since I didn't know him. I definitely want some more races with cars a little faster to make it more interesting.
I have LT's and an ORY in my garage that I had to take off to smog my car. I've just been too lazy to re-install them, and I don't mind a little less noise!

Iit definitely agree about the long tubes ,put em back on 4 sure!Good kills and don't worry the nice weather is gonna bring out plenty of fast cars.maybe you should look into some lower control arms and subframe connectors befofe the sticky tires.atleast to help eliminate the dreaded wheelhop ,it will help that stock rear end last a little longer.
