01' SS vs. 10 Shelby GT500 So. this kid at my highschool recently got a a 2010 Shelby GT500(He is 17, ridiculous, i know) and was going around saying he could wax my car, along with some other people saying this too. So i thought, okay, lets play then. We went from a 30mph roll, as soon as i got in to it i started walking away from him, by the end of 1st i was about a car and a half away, by the end of second about 3. then i hit 3rd and 4th and just kept pulling. I ended up beating him by a good 5 or 6 cars. LS1 power for the win baby. That'll teach him horsepower isn't everything ahahaha. Thats my story for today, thought id share it with you guys!

Lol better put on that flame suit, bub. I hope you have atleast heads/ cam. Even with a shitty driver, he *should* run you down on the top end. I hate to do it but..

I disagree. Bolt-ons and cam will do the job just fine. Those gt500's are ok, but nothing cam and bolt-ons can't take care of asumming he is stock. I think I would be a pretty close race if not beat a gt500 from a 25 roll and I am sure I would get it from a launch. It might pull me a little up top. Again, assuming the gt500 is stock.

1 7/8 headman headers. Cats are deleted. 3" Y pipe running into 3" magnaflow. K&N ram air kit and an aggressive tune. The car came with unknown mods when I bought it. It made 330rwhp before anything. The main reason I think I won was because that kid has never drive standard before. Its fine if you don't believe me, I thought he was gonna walk my *** too, I was surprised when he didn't! Lol. As I have no video to prove my story I guess you get to believe whichever you want!

Um yea you should go to great bend drag strip. Its like 40 mins from wichita? Ther is a black gt500 there with intake that runs 12.7-12.8's at 108. He doesn't hook good, but his mph is no better than mine. This was the same night that I ran that.

TSP TV3. 12.7 @ 107 1.9 60ft spinning, obviously, and the da was terrible that night. I haven't been back since, but I have recently added LCAs and 4.10s, just no desire to go to the track. I've always left KID disappointed, so my car has only seen street duty lately.
