First Kill in the SS
Here's a little shorter re-cap of a race I encountered last night on my way home. Found a 600cc newer (05-up) street bike. When I got next to him I downshifted to third to let him know my intentions. I rolled on it a little and quickly let off the the throttle to let the Tial chirp and let him know what was about to happen to him. At this point he downshifted into what I presumed to be third it could of been second, but I doubt it as we were going 70. As soon as he downshifted he rolled into it which doesn't benefit me as it takes about 1.5 to spool in third at 70, but to my surprise as I floor'd it he never pulled one inch on me and I had to let off around 100 because of a car coming up and he didn't slow. I didn't make any crazy heroic attempts to jump around traffic to catch him as I knew I had a good 8 miles till home and plenty of open road to catch up. Once again around 1-2 miles later cars exited and left a lane a good mile long for me to speed up and catch him. Once I caught him again I wasn't playing, I slowed to 60mph and downshifted to 2nd. He did the same and this time went into 2nd also. I nodded at him and started the honking countdown to 1. On 1 he rolled early and I nailed it when he did without even hitting the 3rd horn. From the jump it was dead even with me pulling a car up to redline. When I hit third at 85mph I gained another car/car and a half. I shut it down at 130 about 3-4 cars ahead of him. The bike was a tangerine/pearl two-tone so I never got a good chance to catch graphics to get a idea of what brand or cc the bike. This bike had to be a 600 for me to pull 3-4 cars on him up to 120-130. The guy I purchased the car from said he has pulled several 600's on the highway including power commanded and full piped 600's. He has never raced anything bigger though, not because he didn't want to, but because the chance never presented itself. You guys think that sounds about right for my car? My car trapped 133-134 at 11lbs. with a 6-spd with a PB of 10.77.

Yea well, I wanted it to be realistic and not the **** that has been popping up lately on this site about 15 yr. old cars and kids being the **** in said car. Since I didn't have a camera, it wasn't someone I knew so it could of been video'd, I tried to make it as realistic as possible. Sorry if it's too long, lol.

how do you know it was a "05 up" 600? lmao
Not doubting that you beat him though.
For what it's worth, there are a ton of sport bikes out there that I can't ID either, and I've been riding sport bikes for 25 years! 75% of them take off what little identification they have on them and they all tend to start looking the same.

Just because I'm feeling frisky this morning...
If the said car was a Mustang then I would believe this had happened!!
We all know that you have to run boost to make a F-body fast!!
