A fully optioned iron headed big block chevelle is around 4000lbs.
A good rule of thumb weight with big block is around 3800lbs minus driver. Of course this is with no weight reduction at all.
TT would be nice on my car but I'm a all motor kinda Guy. I wouldn't mind having a '70 to put a tt ls swap in though...

I don't know how much I would have put on him if we kept going, like I said it was in town so it was just long enough to get my point across.
My car isn't very top end strong for some reason, with a 90mph 1/8th I was really annoyed to only trap 111mph in the 1/4. I was hoping for more.
Strong running manual trans high 12-low 13 second cars can give me fits from highway rolls. But it is what it is, I just love catching them at lights where I can slap a car on them before we get through the intersection, most of the time they give up before grabbing a gear.
