Hey, hows it going?

I would run at shadyside, but the 1/8th is just to short, my car has really bad wheelhop problems and i can never get any traction. He would prob beat me pretty easily over there! The quarter would be a lot more like it, but its just too far to travel! Plus, the last time i went to shadyside i snapped my axle!

You can call the office sometime and talk to NL about your wheelhop, he maybe able to help you out with that.



I hear the new GTOs have the same problem with wheelhop.

You're both on equal grounds from a dig since you're both driving an M6. You're better off racing him from a roll. First gear is pretty much useless on the street. I suggest going from a 50mph roll in second gear. That's going to be your bread and butter. The problem is that is the perfect spot for the LS1 as well. Either way, I honestly think you'll lose buy a car or 1.5 cars if the guy can drive. A few bolt on mods and you'll destroy him. In stock form (or close to it), he has the edge.

Ok thanks for the input unit213, i mentioned going from a roll but he won't do it! I'm working on getting the 2.93 pulley and a tune before i do it! An intake is on the way for friday! I'll prob run him for fun off the line if im still stock, (he'll prob get me) , but ill put money on it if i can get the perf. parts! Either way it'll be fun!

CAI, 2.93 pulley, chip, catback will put you at ~440rwhp. Start looking for Z06's.

i was'nt being cocky and when did i decide i didn't have a chance i told you it's a low 9 high 8 sec street car. and unit earlier he said he had lingenfelter heads , a cam and a bunch of other stuff i'm still coming down but it won't be till april as i stated because ladyredhawk informed me the outlaw 10.5 class we're running in has been postponed. but like i said my buddy in his ss will come down this weekend probably if you put up enough money.

yes he does have more mods then mentioned. he said lingenfelter heads, but you know he has to have a cam with that as well!

he has the same kind of bolt ons like my buddy. you have to bolton heads cam and nitrous don't you ? you can't exactly hold the heads on with jb weld LOL

and like i said in a later post when you were truthful about some of your mods i was about us my camaro is a low 9 high 8 street car and the 00ss is high 9's 10.0's i figured by now the 12's were just a joke.

Damn, all these decked out LS1s! Michigan and Indiana have none of this! I'm going to be in Norfolk, VA all summer. You guys going to still be playing? I'd love to come out, even if it is a bit of a drive! (BTW, there's no way in hell I'm racing any of you, lol, unless its understood that i get a big head start)
