Finally talked to the actual vette owner. He said it had longtubes and z06 catback, stall, and 3.55 gears. Also said he ran 87 octane, left traction control on, also left it in D, and it hooks and goes. Runs 8.2 or 8.3 in the 1/8th.

He declined my race tomorrow and added that I didn't have enough to outrun him.(I said the mach was exhaust only) but he quickly said he wasn't skeerd.

I had a feeling there was more too it than just the catback. Crap times though.

What kind of a turd runs 87 in any LSX motor???

Although I think the Vette would get you up top, just from it being lighter and having 2.73s, you would most likely murder it off the line though.

He said it had longtubes and z06 catback, stall, and 3.55 gears. So it might be an interesting race. Too bad he pussed out!

This ive seen low mileage base c5 vettes go for 17k to 20k around me though 25k is a bit of a stretch. Thats just in my area though im sure other cities it'll be different.

He switched lanes and i slowly cruised past him giving just enough throttle so that he would notice me, and at this time i noticed the GT500 on his door. He gave his car a little gas and i could definitely hear the whine of the blower. About a half mile later we end up at a red light but there are cars in front of us still, so i get in the left turn lane hoping he will bite. Sure enough last minute he flicks his blinker on and follows suit behind me in the left turn lane.

The left arrow turned green and i turned into the far lane and sat at ~25mph in first gear waiting for him. He came up along side me and matched my speed and as i looked over he nodded at me. He put three fingers up and counted down (i guess that's the new 3-honk?). We both went WOT and i immediately put about a length on him. As i shifted to second he stayed right where he was and i slowly started to pull more on him as i reached the top of each gear. We shut down around ~110 or so and i probably had ~3 car lengths on him. He asked me if my car was turbo'd because he thought he heard air lol but i told him it was just cam'd. He said it was an '07 but i'm not sure if he had anything done to it. He was a cool guy though, we complimented each other's cars and drove off into the night.

Cliff notes: i out-edged him in every gear, and i'm loving the new cam
Lol typical butthurt Ford boy. Making up excuses as to why his turd got yanked like a 40 year old virgin's dick watching ****.

That AIR that you heard was the N/A LS1 farting in your blown ford's face, bruh!
