Default Trans am vs 5.0 :)

Coming from my moms house, I see this fox coming behind me pretty quick like trying to catch up. We play around and finally catch a light. He is next to me and I was going to talk to him but I didn't see the window down so I didn't bother. I gave a little rev to see if he was game. Sure enough I see it stalling and that's when I knew he was an Auto. Auto vs Auto. .... Anyway, light turns green and we take off. I grip and put about 1 car instantly on em, then hit second i wasn't pulling hard anymore, I had to let the throttle go and it finally shifted to 3rd and slowly put half more car. He shut down since traffic was coming on his lane and I did the same.

Race ended with me about 1 1/2 cars and we shut down at around 85mph. Yeah pretty slow but it was fun.

GTA has headman LT's, 373's, shift kit and UD pulley....

5.0 fox Lx coupe had exhaust for sure and idk what else.

Haven't ran a stang in sometime with the GTA so I forgot how it would do.

classic race!!! Those gotta be very rare nowadays to find both a old 5.0 and a L98 third gen going at it.

Here is an old pic. Don't have a recent one. It actually looks better now after the color sanding

I was pretty excited since I really don't see many stock 5.0's out there. Classic run, I wish I had a passenger to record it.

Thanks guys. It was pretty fun, haven't ran a 5.0 In a while. Lol. I've had the car for 8 years and don't plan on selling it. Probaly an ls swap in the future.

The reminder of what my 70+yr old did hurts when I see this car! He traded his during cash for clunkers and they poured something into the motor to seize it up. Identical car with 40k original miles on it. I wasn't able to buy it in time! Beautiful car nonetheless.

That sucks big time man. I would of hated doing that to a good low mile car. I probably would of cried haha
