I think it should be required to get **** talking on camera when possible. It makes the murder that much more insulting.

good kill OP!
Time for a cam upgrade IMO. Hell, even a very mild cam reusing the stock springs would wake that thing up something fierce. And maintain a stock idle, too, with better fuel mileage when combined with LT's.

I am, but I rarely go on there. I'm really torn by the cam decision. My common sense tells me to stay stock since I don't want to effect driveability at all. On the other hand, I'm thinking that a small cam might be nice.

From the dyno graphs I've seen on GMHTP and Hot Rod when they put LS3 up against DOD equipped (?L76?) engines the DOD setups did have a tad more bottom end and midrange, but it actually wasn't nearly as much as I would have thought.

Forgot which shop it is, but there is a big name shop doing DOD cams that actually has them making good power. NOT LS3 power, but good non the less.

Link to comparisons?

The issue with DOD cams is both lift and duration: the lifters are controlled by oil pressure and higher pressure valve springs cause issues, along with the higher lift compressing the spring further creating more pressure.
Mast Motorsports is the guys who make the cams and conversions, who are also the guys in all the mags. Go to there sight and find the links.

lookem up, there is dozens. The L76 has the L92 heads which are exactly the same head as the LS3 except the LS3 has hollow stem intake valves.

Also Mast isn't the only ones who make the cams and conversions.
Livernois/Comp/Texas Speed/Vector Motorsports/ etc etc.
Best way is order all stuff to swap DOD out threw GM. Its cheaper. PacePerformance can get great deals on stuff direct from GM.
You really want to get rid of the L76 lifters as they are a weak point. Plus as mention getting rid of DOD will allow you to run a bigger cam. Some guys have made 500whp from the L76 N/A. Highest seen with DOD is about 420whp.
