I just cranked mine this past Friday and I would of video taped it, but I was by myself and needed to keep a eye on the gauges and to watch out for leaks.

Anyway here is the video I took after it had ran for a few minutes and I felt comfortable with the oil pressure and coolant temps. Don't mind the noisy valve train, the lash was set loose for start up and have since been adjusted.

Got some new lug nuts! These are longer lugs though, so I'm wondering how much weight this is going to add to the car

But they are stronger lug nuts, so I think that I can add 20 rwhp to my dyno number right?

I didn't think that I would get any kind of response to it on here. On a Mustang website I would have all kinds of compliments and questions; on here nobody really gives a **** about a Mustang. Honestly that's why I like hanging around on here...the anonymity is quite nice.

Due to GM being total *** holes and not standing behind their recall, I had to fork out $700 for a dumb ******* actuator in the steering wheel today.

theres nothing like the sound of a big turbo in a v8 car. the whistle makes you want to spool it up every time you pass someone. so they know how cool you are. i like to make it whistle as i pass modded pickups with TD's. they arent the only ones with boost.

Yep, unfortunately where I live there are alot of 4banger folk that share the same wet dream of boostin' they hella tight ride yo. I noticed that when driving around I got eye fucked by those type of folk

.....And yeah I love punching it a little bit just to hear that sweet sweet spool of the turbo. Nothing beats it.

Recently order all kinds of crap for my car to do the engine build and few other things. Cams, forged internals, ARP bolts, clutch, Aluminum DS, and all kinds of little stuff.

I had them on my G8. With 500whp they stuck pretty good. I will say my MT's are better though.

I'm tossing around either getting the nt05r's or MT ET's, but I'm unsure which route to go.

I did a swap to rear disc brakes on the Chevelle. LS1 fbody rears just barely fit. Had to grind that bump off the face of the caliper and there is no longer room for internal stick on wheel weights now haha.

Nt05r is the only 19in Dr tho I'm pretty sure in 345s. Did they feel weird driving on the highway? Like unstable?

i had the same experience swapping some (rear) iroc disc brakes to our 72 ss el camino. i had to grind the fins off the top of the caliper.

just curious; was that a direct swap or did you have to put some sort of spacer between the backing plate and caliper bracket? i had about 7/16 of an inch to make up between the two in getting the rotor in the caliper bracket. i had to bring the bracket out away from the backing plate.

on a side note, i had a friend do some tuning on the ta for me. stock tune had 24* timing and wot afr @ 12.6 - i didn't think that was too bad. we added 3-4* timing and took out a touch of fuel at wot and a TON of fuel at part-throttle. i'm curious to see how it affected the car's trap. deleted about a million codes and FINALLY removed cags.
