Mine does, and that's the truth. I'm sorry you can't understand this.

It dosent matter I can show a video of a honda getting beat by a guy on a huffy but that dosent mean it will happen every time. I dont care how fast you guys think a stock GTO is. Its not beating a C63 AMG.

Have you ever driven a GTO? There is a big difference between a auto and manual as far as roll racing goes..You are crazy if you think a srt8 anything is a drivers race against a m6 ls2 GTO..

Don't stock SRT-8 cars trap ~110mph?

How many times do i have to tell people 1/4 times don't mean ****..lol GTO's are not 1/4 mile cars, because of the IRS...roll racing and its a different story.

Ok, seriously? When did I ever mention anything about a 1/4 mile time? Trap speed is generally indicative of how a car performs from a roll. SRT-8 cars trap ~110mph and have a top speed around 170mph... seems like a pretty damn good roll race for a stock LS2 GTO. And the SRT-8s are IRS too, btw.

I want to see three quarter mile passes, all out, everything it has.. That would answer my questions... Full slip of course.

Honestly what does trap speed have to do with roll racing? A car can be spinning all the way down a track and the trap speed will be low..Try running a m6 GTO in 3rd gear and see what happens to a srt8..

You think trap speed had nothing to do with a roll race? Seriously? I'm not talking about cars spinning all the way down the track, I am talking about clean runs.

You will never get people to comprehend this.

Ok,what if i spin 100ft from the start how does that not effect trap speed?

It all depends on where you start from, and where you finish. I know that you have beaten cars that trap higher than you, and I have done the same thing... I also know that the MN12's gearing makes it run harder from some speeds than it does others. But trap speed is still an indicator of how the race could go.

If you spin 100ft down the track, you have a badly set up car.

I think your car is a factory freak, thus the reason you're beating cars you "shouldn't" , but from reading the comments on SVTP and that Mercedes forum, this is what I think you need to do to try to convince them..

-do a walk around with the camera in detail to prove you're really stock, include engine bay, exhaust, tires, anything you can think of.
-have the camera man in the car you're racing agains't to prove he can drive, record him doing some pulls and shifting (since people are blaming the other driver)
-do all of this in the daytime again if not too risky

..thats all I can think of.

i agree on the trap being a "decent" measure of roll race.

but note the joke in my sig.

i trap 105/6 but that is spinnin/bogging for 100ft which is why i run with 108/9 trapping cars from a roll.

that goat reminds me of me.
drive it like u stole it and pull away from cars that dont expect it cause my timeslip doesnt represent the power/weight and ease of bangin gears.
