8psi is usually because it's a stock motor. Normally 4 cylinders will run 25-30+psi to make bigger power.

yup thats what i was thinking. I know most vtecs can handle 8-9psi After that they need to start doing other work to the motor

Well first he says it runs 12.7 then says it should do 11s. i was thinking 11s. unless them things are unstopable from a roll? He dint wanna dig he was all about the roll. maybe a dig would of been closer. The thing is when i left i was at the micky d's across the street and i seen cops show up

It happens. And yes 8-9psi is really low. I know guys running 15psi on stock K20 engines. The built ones run 24-30pssi. And make 550whp-650whp. We have some 10/11 sec street honda's around us. They don't play very often but they don't waste there time on basically stock cars from a roll. Few them will pull a 1000cc bike. There even one that shows up at SAR that runs mid 9s at 160mph.

He didn't want a dig cause he is from wheel drive. A roll race helps him out a lot.

You need to get out more. Is this your first semi fast car? Put some sticky tires on it and only race them from a dig. High horsepower and fwd makes for a bad launch, especially on the street.

5k into the engine... 18 psi is most likely low boost. FWD with that kind of power blows from a dig on the streets. That is your only chance really lol

You'd need a cam and a shot of nitrous - depending on his specific setup, he's probably at 450ish at that PSI and weighs 1200lbs less than you lol

Good loss though, its very humbling. Theres always a diamond in the rough no matter what scene you're in

Throw a cam in your LS1 than you don't worry about much of anything that you encounter on the street lol. Sucks, but at least you were humble about it.

I had no problems beating camaros (Heads, cams, intake) with 250 shot in my 466whp integra. Full weight also.
