I'm a former GT owner and can say that those numbers are pretty decent for what he has in it. That Stang should run a 12.5-12.9 depending on how good a driver he is and how well he can hook. I make about 55rwhp more N/A and I don't even have all the "bolt-ons", but I can still respect his car for what it is. The 4Vs are killer blown...

I raced a Vortec 01 GT when I just had the 4# Pullies on my car.

1st gear I spun...he spun a bit but no where near as bad. 1 car lead for him
2nd gear. I am still pinning...he stops spinning starts pulling 2-3 car lead for him. My passenger Brian going..."Matt...he's...he's starting to pull away..better do something quick!"
3rd gear, I stop spinning. Hes full out on it....I immediately stop his pull and proceed to pass him like he is tied to a tree. Literally.

we get up to the next light and gave him the thumbs up. Then I ask what kind of blower does he have. He said "10# Vortech" and asks what I had. I said 4# ATI...and the next thing he said just shocked me.....

"Dude....ATI SUCKS!" I look over at my passenger Brian and was like...did he just say ATI Sucks and yet he got by the ATI? huh?

I would be embarrassed to post that graph running 8psi. My stock '03 Cobra made 385rwhp with 8psi on the Eaton blower.

2002BLGT- You're barking up the wrong tree by posting here. Head back over to the corral. I'm sure you'll find some nutriders over there who think 370rwhp is a lot.

That's higher than some of the stock motor guys with bolt ons.

I thought it was respectable too considering . Glad to see someone here has a brain . LS1s arent the only fast cars in the world ya know .

If I wanted to go FI, I'd be all over a 4V 4.6, or even an old 5.0, but N/A? The GenIII motors are tough to beat. LS1/6s love the spray, too... Good luck with your GT!

You read that his car is 'For Sale' but didn't read to the bottom of his site.....

"My best time with the mods above was 13.03 @ 111.6 on a 2.1 60'. Stock rear-wheel dyno numbers were 306.1 hp @ 5250rpm and 329.4 ft/lbs @ 4200rpm".

otherwise they are slooooow. 370 rwhp = LS1 with bolt ons and a cam.

wow...this and the other thread are definitely the most entertaining threads i have ever seen. 370 rwhp....thats not too bad, but i don't understand the logic behind coming on an LS1 board and bragging about it. i have all the respect in the world for mustangs and their owners, however you are giving them a bad name. maybe you should trade the GT in or give it to someone who deserves it and go buy a honda.

your joking right? I could almost probably take you and my **** is stock, its pathetic when you add a supercharger and only get 370hp, i wouldn't expect anything less than 500 with some tuning. Mustangs suck bitch

I have owned many Mustangs so I can't rag on this toolbox too much, but.... I can tell you what a stock mod-motor and a blower will do With a "safe" tune that will give you around 370-400 rwhp it still won't last long.
