killed an sti (barely) FINALLY found one of these things that wasnt going the other way and didnt turn off. we messed around from a roll and he pulled me everytime so i was kinda worried 
, but in all fairness he was hittin it before me. finally caught a light and he had me by about a car off the line because i was babying it so i wouldnt spin too bad, caught and put about a car on him up to 110 or so. said his mods were a catback and an air filter. he was a cool guy though, definently not a ricer. i was impressed i wasnt expecting it to be as fast as it was especially from a roll.

Nice kills ... you better start moddin that baby if you want to keep that name. Some of these little imports are getting pretty quick.

WRX = 14 second car
98 slowbra with exhaust = mid - high 13's
Stock STI = low - mid 13's.
They're pretty quick cars, givin a good driver.

Thanks guys, I feel loved... Well, lets say, im hoping for mid 17's in stock form this spring at E-town. By the end of the summer, after an engine swap(provided I find a cheap donor car in the local VW salvag yard) I hope to be in the 14's... nothing special, but enough to fry some rice. I want 13's before I give up on the car totally, I think. Unless of course, 10k or so finds its way into my hands very quickly, in which case, screw the jetta.

what do you want milla? i have a buddy with a 90golf that he'd sell complete or just the motor it a stroker 8v with a big cam. it went 14.20 on a 50shot on street tires spraying after the 60' so on slicks it'll go 13's or up the shot plus he just bought a new t3 turbo and all the other stuff to go boosted. new 6 puck clutch and other stuff.should go low 13's high 12's it's a proffesionally built forged motor from gex they did all the port work on the head to. if your interested let me know i'll pm you the details and his number.

The STi should realistically be faster as it has 300 HP and a 6 speed in it. They are both low 13 second cars stock with good drivers launching at 5k from a dig.
