Thanks for the compliments everyone! You will see more of that Porsche. According to the word on the street, he didn't like getting beat by the S/C Z06 so I heard he will be doing some more modifying to his vehicle. In regards to what year it was, it's the 996 model, so the one right before the newest 997. I don't know the exact year though.

That STI catapults like a **** from any gear but as soon as I get into 4th it's game over for him. They can only hold their own from 0-100mph then their top end really kills them. I'm pretty confident that a bone stock C6 Z06 would not be able to or struggle to pull ahead of him.

If that 996 is AWD you will prolly lose from a dig. I dont know your set up but it would take alot to run down a 550/630 AWD car that weighs 200-300 less than that mustang you drive in the 1320. Maybe your just stirring the pot like in every thread i see you in.

As in rock it I met I would drive it/own it...LOL

About racing it well. If all goes well with the build I am doing right now I should see mid 10's N/A and 9's with a little spray. I already cut 1.5 60fts. With the build I should see 1.2/1.3 on bottle, 1.4 60fts off the bottle. I also have some stuff on order to drop some more weight. My car will weigh 3300ish lbs with me in it. What is the weight of this car?

And why can't you drive on slicks everywhere. Just need tires more often..

Awesome video! That Porsche looks great and runs strong.

I think STI's have to shift into 5th at like 100 mph, which is why they suck up top. Good kill, OP!

LOL, im thinking wow this STI has much better top end then the Vette he is racing like the first 2 seconds and then he shifts falls out of boost and its over. There first couple of gears are perfect for off the line, after that freeway racing and it just goes down the drain. Either way nice vid and i agree with above comments that SC Z06 is nasty.

I would have thought the LS3 swapped, spraying C5 would have done better...

Same here, he commented that he ran out of juice during that run - so maybe that's why he didn't get a good run in.
