What mph did the cobra pass at? That truck is awesome lol. Was that a 99 or 01 cobra?

No not really, my truck cuts 2.0's and he was right there for the first 40 ft. or so until my truck started pulling...I don't see to many street tire mustangs/ cobras getting much better then 2.0 on average...sometimes you will see a 1.9 if the track is right...

And yes he did come around after the 1/4 mile....

Stock geared then. How else does a car stay with you for 40 feet, fall back, and then come back. Weird stuff maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both get decent launches, the more powerful motor starts pulling, then the lower weight more aerodynamic car starts reeling? I mean it is just a thought.

Power to weight ratio works better the lower the speed (someone correct me if I'm wrong here LOL) so I doubt that's it. More aerodynamic doesn't work either since both car and truck only managed a 100mph trap speed. Maybe a slow shifter in the Cobra? I don't have audio at work so I can't tell. Who knows, Mustangs suck!

I don't think I ever did worse than a 2.0 at Gateway when I was on my Generals and Nitto 555s (both street tires). Most of the time it was a low 1.9. I never got the chance to run with a stickier tire before it shut down.

I like watching that Ram run over cars.

He was hitting the gears fine...I really didn't want to say anything because it sounds like a ricer excuss, but..... On the 2-3 shift in my truck at approx 78mph I hit the limiter for approx. 1-2 secs...thats why it looks like my truck just stops pulling..if anything I should have held him off til 110-115ish....instead of 100ish.

The 4l60e in stock form does not like to shift past 6200rpms...it looses pressure, pretty simple fix, but the trans needs to be pulled for the correct modifications to allow it to **** at 6400 where I have it set at.

I don't know why you are getting so confused with why the ram pulled so hard in the mid range.....Its a bigger motor with more power .....the 4.6 cobra motor has less tq everywhere.....then on the top end you are comparing 4400lbs automatic brick vs a 5 speed 3400lb car that slices through the air....

next time you are driving 70 mph stick your fat head out the window and try to notice whether or not if the air pushes your head backwards.....then try it at 100mph and tell me that my truck is not affected by areodynamics....

Wow good runs.. Man ur truck is pretty bad ***.. But I have to admit the passenger in the mustang sounds like a dork .. Lol .. He just sounds annoying ..
