I've already got one car with a lopped off exhaust. I don't need two now

That cam is smaller then the MS3 and those cars run there *** off top end. I think your making crappy excuses for poor driving. Your setup should easily net you 116mph trap speeds which should easily pull that cobalt from a roll.

Id learn to drive before i start throwing parts at it to bandaid the problem. Maybe even look at a re-tune if your having driveability issues.

^although i agree the camaro should pull past, you have to rememebr the air out there affects the non f/i cars unlike the lil turbo cars.

any of u guys in the OP have any track times?

The car has no problem at top end , she tends to run down a lot of cars. I just need to get a good launch. Like I said tho I'm learning. Thanks for pointing that out again lol

Yeahhhh, a 103 trap isn't coming around on a cammed LS1 from a roll. Like I said, he'd eat you from a roll. Bolt-on car would be interesting. Less weight vs power/tq

Well now we're going to have to go make a damned video to prove you wrong.

I think a roll race is going to be pretty close.

Better stay in the mountains. You come down to sea level and everyone else picks up 100 horsepower. Your cobalt picks up Zero.

Lol, what does that matter? Kinda a moot point ya think. You better stay at sea level or you'll get picked on by little turbo cars at altitude

My car is supercharged. If I go into the mountains I'll just run a smaller pulley

103-105 is about right for a GMS1.

that is not what you said....zero increase would be zero 103.
2mph trap increase is significant isnt it?

besides.....i trapped 103 stock and have never trapped that low again.
try 105-107

Bolt ons do nothing for a GM tuned Cobalt. Also stock trap speeds are more like 99-101. Your 103 is on the high side and is exactly what my buddies did stock for 1 pass after we tricked the computer. Then it was right back to 99-101 the rest of the night.

You tricked the computer, just admit it. There's like a dozen threads on the Cobalt board on how to do it to pick up a few MPH for 1 pass. Notice how all the fastest stock SS/TC's trap like 2-3mph slower on their backup pass.

I never trapped under 102 stock.
****, my 1st run in it I trapped 102.
Then I hot lapped it 103, 103.5, 102, 103.5 and so on.

No idea what u mean trick the PC.

Then just GM tune 1st time out 106, followed by a 105 w/my 13.7 run.

You are the last one to doubt what a regular on here has to say about mods.
I have enough vids to show what my car can do GM tune only.

I have nothing to hide.

and we already established that buddy of yours cant drive that balt.
