If you lost to a l99 camaro I would go do a complete tune up that shouldnt happen plain and simple lol.

Yes it should happen, technically I'm a stock 98 auto with 2.73 and no ls6 intake. It was 45C out when I raced the camaro i only did 1 round we were in a hurry and it was from a 25mph roll as well I think i would've done better from a dig. As for the rims they're not heavier by that much compared to the stock and the retain the original gearing, at least i think they do, for every 1" increase over stock we take 5 from the middle no. on the tire spec right?

Now how do we add tags to threads? so other stock fbody owners who are planning go against a challenger know what they're up for ?

A Challenger R/T and a Challenger SRT8 are in two different leagues

Yup lol that's what I meant. If a stock 98 can get an srt-8 even part of the time, there is no way a bolt on, lt, td, stalled, 02 is going to ever lose to an R/T

The R/Ts are slow pigs off the line. Don't know if its torque management, the fact they weigh over 4k, or both.

Give him a head start to make it fun.

Default Make sure it is a 2010 and not a 2011

The 2010 SRT8s are quite a bit slower than the 2011s. Make sure its a 2010 because my money is on the 2011. Been there and experienced it for real!

Yes they are. So far the magazines and general public times show

2005-2010 SRT8's - 12.8-13.4 @ 107-109 (Best Time Ever 12.56@111)
2011-2012 SRT8's - 12.7-13.0@110-113 (Chargers and 300's) (Best So Far 12.7@113.4)
2011-2012 Challenger - 12.3-12.7@111-114 (Challengers) (Best So Far 12.27@113.6)

Gotcha. And probably cause they're so new the testers aren't used to them. I remember when the first reviews of the 392 challenger were done and they only got 13s

Default SRT8 Challenger weight

We weighed his car on some very accurate scales where I work. It weighed 4120 lbs with a 1/8 of a tank of fuel. I drove the car and it has a Ton of torque,,,,It doesnt snap your head back but I could really feel the torque and hard pull while driving it. It handles very well for a 2=ton tank. It will fry the tires off if you don't take it easy off the line but once it hooks it pulls hard. The car pulled hard and steady to 160 mph with paper tags and 1400 miles on it and it had plenty left under the hood. His brother has a first year SRT8 2010 6.1 and isn't nearly as quick or fast as the 6.4 is. I have raced and been in both cars,,,I am not speculating this on what somebody thinks or says ,,Ive been in and raced them both. A G8 smoked the 2010 but I don't think it could handle the 2011 at all. Surprised me how fast it runs.
