Default 2kills and an *** wooping

I went to the local 1/8mile track to try out my car since the mods. I did pretty good. I dropped 4 tenths second off my time.
Now for the races:
I got lined up next to a 80's mercury cougar...he beat me out of the hole by atlease half a car,but I reeled him in instantly.
My time was 8.497 and his 9.xx...my 60ft was 1.96 which I couldn't believe.
Next race:
On the way home some dude in a mecedes 230 started pacing me and throwing revs. He's with his grilfriend(she looked really hot) and lines up next to me and punched it. So I returned the favor and flew by him and slowed down and paced him while he was at wot and took off again.
Now the *** wooping:
Some dude in a lt1 camaro (car was quite) he lined up on the hwy with me. I thought an lt1 that's that quite I got this... Boy was I wrong! He had no exhaust,no whining sound,no cam sound. It sounded stock! Well we were at 60mph and took off he pulled steady and got the hit. He put a solid 3-4 cars. I told him to slow to 30mph and then go again. He did and he let me get the hit. He walked my *** with no problems. Again he put another 3-4 on me. I gave him the thumbs up and got off at my exit. What do you guys think it had. I'm thinking a shot.

don't know, my tuner's wifes LT1 Z28 was a ported stock heads/ mild cam 383 setup 2800 stalled daily driver setup that sounded pretty stock/quite and ran low low 12's in full street daily driver setup. that would be enough to walk you like you described.

Though a shot is most likely what he used on you. Either way, a loss is a loss and reason to mod up more.

He wasn't gone but pulled steadily away. Hopefully he's a member and will chime and share his mods with us.

Also I did notice his car wake up fast!

Thanks guys...also there were three new 5.0's and two of them ran mid to high 8's and one guy just ran low 9's in an auto. Beautiful cars but I wasn't to impressed. With a good driver they probably 12sec cars, but average drivers low to high 13's.

Don't get mad me homie...I'm telling you what I saw. When I was running 8.8 in the 1/8 my 1/4 mile time 13.6 or so. These car were running mid to high 8's. If you did the math and that's what you got, then so be it. I still think they're very nice cars.

I don't think an 8.8 in an LT1 will have the same result (1/4) as an 11 5.0. I would "assume" the 1/4 to be better from the 5.0. Based on the fact that ur car and the 5.0 will accelerate at diff speeds on the second 1/8 mile
