The Boss had his foot in it as I did not see him jump, I heard him.. it was loud. Are you saying that a 3600 pound Boss is better in the twisties than a 3200 pound Z06? The Z06 spent a lot of time being developed at Nurburgring, and as I recall ran a 7.56 there in 2002. Like I said, the Boss may have just had the plastic pulled off the seats.

Not sure then Nurburgring but it did beat it at the Leguna Seca track. And this was a C6Z not a C5Z. It took the 100K C6Z with the Z07 pacjage to beat it. Which was better then the ZR1 also.

Like has been said in another thread specifically about the ZL1, there are too many variables that go into 'Ring times for them to be definitive. So I take them with a grain of salt. I don't believe Ranger Armstrong is gonna run mid 10s @ 135mph in a ZL1, which would mean it handles significantly better than a Z06. Not sure I'm ready to believe that yet. I'll wait til production versions are driven at other tracks. Like that list you just posted.

At the drag strip it will have advantage over a Z06 as well with its launch control. Also with an auto not having to worry about banging gears.

Dude, you do know the C5z driven by Millen was on a wet track right??? These times are meaningless except for the ones done on the same day in same conditions. Not to mention the C6z and maybe some others were tested on run flats. So I wouldn't look too much into this list. A 2006 Z06 with similar tires to Boss 302 on the same day ain't gett'in beat

Very believable kill, especially if the Boss ran out of gear (it's gearing is awesome for Laguna Seca).

A stock Boss 302 trap 12x on tire only? Very doubtful but lots of C5Zs have trapped 116-118mph.

However I believe that is the fastest trap for a stock C5Z.

That was the first-year C6Z with the known suspension and tire (run flats) short comings. The Boss is very impressive though!

That C5Z time is a joke, not worth publishing.

Actually that is a fantastic list. Those MT tests are groups of about 10 cars at a session (Top Handling tests, Top Drivers car, etc) driven by top drivers and if I'm not mistaken, usually around the same time of year. Granted there can be variances, but it's a great list.

Agreed, no boss has been 122 without some mods. This is the fastest known pass for a completely stock boss with a tire swap, still impressive to me and right on par with c5z's which is why I think they would be a lot closer with similar drivers in a drag race

Dude have you looked at the date this video was up loaded????????? This video was uploaded march 28th. Why are people dressed up with hoodies ?? i just googled the track for events back in mid to late march and the temps didnt go past 50 this last march

Usually you guys are always whining about your da's when someone else runs good. I've seen a stock 02-04 Z06 run the times that Boss did. Although the Z0 had more mph.
