All depends on setup and driver. My pullied cobra beat heads and cam vettes. With a port would have been worse.

my buddies heads mild cam c5z trapped 126mph.. Still stock ls6 intake and tb, in 2400da.. full weight car etc etc.
Other buddies ls2 with just cai exhaust tune trapped 93 mph in the 1/8 1500 da.

Your average pulled cobra is going go be 118-120.. Ported is going to be 121-123.
There are always odd ones in both bunches.

What does the typical cammed LS2 C6 trap? 119-122 range? I beat a pullied cobra weighing right around 3200lbs when I was just a cam only car.

123-124 average seems kindof high for a cam only LS2? I guess I could see some of the faster ones going that but that's like saying the average cam only F-Body traps 120-122.

Nothing special about this..

They weigh a bit less than an fbody, better aero, more cubes.

Knock off a mph or two since it is ATCO if you would like.

A cam only ls2 cam easily make 450Rwhp Cam only.. You don't think a 450Rwhp fbody weighing 3200#s would hit 122-123 on average?

I just stated that it seemed kindof high, I think an Fbody weighing the same as a C6 with the same RWHP would trap higher honestly, if it was setup right. I mean if power to weight ratio made sense then a stock 98 F-body wouldn't be faster than a stock 98 corvette but GM High Tech proved that it is.

I agree with above last vid cobra heat soaked. Suprised on the white vette should've done alot better. Good job lilmiller74 even in the first vid although the cobra pulled it wasnt by much and you hung in there good.

If he has the right cooling mods.....it wouldnt have been heat soaked seeing how it was 40 degrees that night. Casey said the cobra may have not heard the honks....which after watching the vids i agree.

I doubt it.. Gears aren't very common with the C6s, corvettes in general. They launch extremely hard for some reason.. I would guess their 1st gear is very low.
With a few bolt ons and a small 3200 converter they can turn low 7s.

Nah, that is about the norm.. They run hard.

It would take heads for an fbody to make the same RWHP/RWTQ numbers as a cam only ls2 C6, therefore it probably would trap higher seeing it has a bit better curve.
Fbody will always have an advantage, SRA vs IRS.

Power/weight ratio being that close makes little difference.

In the first video I pulled around him at like 150, the second video I spun bad but wasn't catching him and the third he didn't say weather or not he could t hear the honks but I just assume maybe he got a late jump. But his car is quick I defiantly think im beating the driver not the car.
