The cobra is an underpowered ported cobra....had some belt slip and isnt the best driver and is also a vert. Also caseys vette runs very hard and casey is a very good driver so that should sum it all up...lol.

My Z28 ran very close with bolt-on LS2 Vettes and I'd get yanked a few cars easy by good running ported Cobras like you stated here. That Cobra in the vid seems like a slower one (perhaps down on power a little compared to others and also appears to be a vert, which doesn't help). Or maybe he just doesn't beat on it as hard as he could. You can see in the second vid it's clearly quicker than your car, just not consistently in those vids.
Nice runs, regardless. What did the cammed C6 put down? What cam does he have in there?

Sold now but it was a 2002 Z28 M6 with a mild heads/cam setup through a heavy drivetrain. It put down 408/380 SAE on a dynojet and was 3,500 lbs plus driver. In hot, humid weather at a mediocre track it went 11.7's @ 117 and in cold, dry weather at a good track it went 11.4's @ 121.
