These L99 pick up torque like CRAZY low end from tunes. Somewhere I remember seeing as much as 80+ torque off a tune only in the low end.
People only see the end results and seldom look at the curves.
Tuned L99 are beastly. L99 already have more torque than the LS3 down low.
Very believable. And lol at you guys saying its an 01. You can clearly hear the blower and that's a stock blower. 03-04 cobra.

Im still saying eaton cobras always seem to need a significant amount more power to win its race... they heat soak so fast and so easily. Lets say they make 480whp. Thats a 1 gear pull on the dyno with an ice cold blower... Now lets start in first gear, wind it out, hit second gear, wind it out, third gear wind it out, and finally fourth gear. U really think your still making that same power you did when you dynoed it. The incredible heat soak murders them. Thats why i personally would NEVER waste my time with an eaton. I would instantly look into a kenne bell or whipple. A big problem with the eaton cars is people try and spin the living **** out of them to try and grab every lb of boost possible. Sure they mike a little more hp ON THE DYNO... but in the real world when your going gear to gear to gear, they are so over spun that there nuclear hot by the time u get into any decent mph. The fastest Eaton cars ive ever seen (locally) and ive seen A LOT, are the ones running 15-16lbs with a decent port job. The guys squeezing 17-18 lbs always seem to just die out up top over 100mph. Ill show you an example of this.

Ignore the 550whp... that was a guess from someone who didnt know any better. The camera car spun in this race on the hit. The camera car is a street tuned VERT Steigmier stage 4 port running 16 lbs. Cant remember upper pulley but it had a 2 lb lower. identical setups in both cars. The 517whp(dynoed) was running the same port and same upper pulley with a 4lb lower (18psi). Both drivers were legit and both cars ran strong. The non-camera car is 250-300lbs lighter then the camera VERT car. So all we know here is the heavier car running 16psi, has got more steam then the lighter car running 18. My guess for the win was the opposite of the actual verdict. The hardtop trapped 122-123 as it sat. Vert never went to the track
