There was two races. The first race which I didn't post the vette missed third gear and JP let out, but the vette eventually got into 4th and continued to chase and JP got back in it. JP did get him that race. The second race was the one I posted and JP stayed in it the whole time and into 5th gear and the vette passed the cobra. But thats just what HE said after we pulled over to talk about it. Both cars need to race from stop and see which one crosses a finish line first if you ask me.

I prefer racing from a stop, but the 383 car was killing his tires from anything under 60mph so we kept going up and up til he finally didn't spin. I don't know what time you are talking about, I didn't even know you were racing with us. I know you were never ahead of me when I was WOT though jk

hmmm both cars are quick, cobra can launch too. He(cobra) put a huge gap on me from a dig, but a whole lot closer from a roll.

The stock blower car is paranoid about his IRS and refuses to ditch it. He isn't even very aggressive on launching on the DR.

The other car has gone 1.72 60ft on 275/60 MT at a better prepped track but his clutch was slipping. Went 9.7s in the 1000ft that night (-200 DA) smoking the clutch.

Drag Radial on a IRS car is the death to a half shaft. The bias ply absorbs the shock and doesn't wheel hop, so it's a lot easier on the half shafts.

I've been as low as a 1.56 on a 26X10.5X17 bias ply ET Street.
