Do explain. As in the cars/races, or the quality? I thought my new cheap camcorder did pretty well considering there isn't 1 light on that highway. Only light it's getting is from headlights.

 

I talked to Shane he was worried about being at a disadvatage racing the 5.0 cause he was on street tires. He knew he was faster then it just worried about spinning to much basically. LOL

 

You nailed it. Nature of the beast and it's hard to record with no other lighting available. It was a compliment because it would have been hard to watch if you didn't throw the names of the people in at the right times and edit it the way you did.

 

Gotcha, thanks! Didn't take any offense, just was wondering. Always open to some constructive criticism to make my vids better...like how I forgot the A in cameracar several times. Gotta polish my skills before things get really rolling in spring/summer with faster cars and much more racing.

I think we talked about the gopro being crap for night recording, but I've heard the newest hero2 is better. Have you checked it out.? I'm thinking about making the switch.

 

Thats too funny, I was just reading up one the hero2s this morning lol I was under the impression they were A LOT more then they really are. I might pick one up for next year.

My friend is getting for a Hero2 for Christmas. I'm trying to sell mine, and if his does good I might buy the Hero2. Don't know if I can justify having a GoPro and a camcorder, but we'll see. Haven't seen to much of the Hero2 at night. The Hero1 does decent night videos, but don't expect it to be anything close to a real camcorder unless you have a well lit highway. I will never understand why people buy GoPros to use as a camcorder and not mount it...

Eh, getting better. Some have been crap, but I'm always trying out different things and messing with stuff. I found some things I'm going to stick with...now spring just needs to come so I can get more of a variety of cars...and have one of my own.
