Caught two slipping

Caught two slipping Came up to a light with a wide open straight away and in front of me and I see a cobalt SS and a 95-98 mustang throwing revs. So I throw a rev also(3"cut-out open),so now they know it's on. I noticed that the gt had dumps and the cobalt seemed to be stock.
Well light turns green and I let them get the hit. I spun really hard when I took off with both of them about a car ahead of me. By the time I hit 2nd I started pulling pretty hard and proceeded to put about 5-6 cars on the stang and 4-5 on the cobalt.
Next race we went from a roll going the other way this time.(warehouse district) They decsided to do a 20mph roll and that was really bad for both of them. I put an easy bus length on both of them by top of 2nd and third gear I just took it to the middle with another 3cars easily on both.
Felt good since I lost not to long ago to a c5.

for every 5 cobalt ss's I ever run into only 1 is ever the turbo one. Those are night and day better than the SC ones.
Op, good kill, do you know if the cobalt was a sc or tc?

He told me that the cobalt was the turbo(stock) and the stang had a cobra intake and dumps. The cobalt was a solid 1-2 cars ahead of the stang. When I past them both.

From my understanding, with a tune those things make ~300 wheel and weigh ~29xx...thats good stuff.

Then he must need the driver mod...That's why I was surprised that it didn't do better especially from the roll. I've always heard that they were fast but not this one. Nonetheless it was fun!
