Aww man I'm just messing with you as always Jason. You need to get a monster clutch for the WS6. How are the nittos does your mom like them?

Don't know where I read it but I disagreed with someone the other way, your way saying the LT1s were heavier, and they pointed me to the information somewhere.

So you are trying to tell me that there are no differences other than drivetrain from a Trans Am and a Firebird? You sure about that one?

From what I read online the lt1 car was about 200 lbs lighter than the ls1. Gm most of added some reinforcements, thought the 98-02 where the same body with a lighter engine.....

Hio's right. From 98-02 fireturd v6 and v8 where the same except for engine/trans of course. The trans am where differant. He never said Trans am. The firehawk he is talkin about is a formula.

I believe an m6 1sc car would be lighter than all of those others listed. Weird thing is I've seen plenty of them run the same times (slower really) than my ws6 car. I test drove one and was not impressed at all.
Whatever the case, the ls3 is a ******* monster in comparison to the ls1, power will overcome the weight difference mod for mod imho.

The 5th gen is definitely refined and everything but the 4th gen is the better drag racer Period!
