Again you have done zero research on canted valves. They do better than inline setups in smaller bores because the valves open to the center of the chamber.

Do your own research. I already did your research for you on putting a T56 behind a 5.0.

yea and you didnt get the t56 swap and rear gear then and still dont. i understnad it doing beter than inline. similar to what a tfs twisted wedge does. but like i said i dont see where they are impressive in STOCK form.

You better call everyone thats already done it and tell them you know more w/ your non running car.

If you dont see whats impressive you havent looked. 8s back in the 70s w/ stock casting iron heads? Don't talk about "replacing everything w/ aftermarket" because the aftermarket was NOT what it is today(and really still isnt there for the C bottom ends).

Heres a quick google for you. http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=294982

Maybe you guys could teach Bob and Billy about what's junk and whats not?

Does it drive?

There are some examples in the thread have at it sparky. Here's another hint for you; Ford used Cleveland heads on the 351 Cobra Jets and Boss 302

stock 351c 2v heads flow 230cfm, the boss 4v head flow 275cfm. A stock LS1 head flows what?240cfm? i would say the old cleveland stuff is impressive especially for the time they came out. Of course its not gonna be impressive forever, shoot v6's today are approaching LS1 power levels

Your the one who talks out your ***. Saying a 456 or lower gear was suitable for a dd. To make the t56 come out right for the new 5.0 power band.

so your saying a 4.125 bore is going to slow a canted valve head down?

Nothing new about canted valve stuff...bbc had it before ford and there was actually a super rare sbc casting. Low and mid lift velocity sucked on the ford hence why most look for the 2v head.

i gotta agree with LT/LS GUY...my LT1 always smoked mustangs including the vaunted '93 cobra...and still does, as well as my '87 formula 350....in '91 GM changed the look on there f-body's and went with speed density intake in place of the mass air sensor...the night i bought my '91 formula 350 new i already had changed the entire air system...those cars '91-'92 were way ahead of what ford was offering back then....i never lost to 5.0 and i was a saleman at ford , so i was there driving them as well...and i still have a place in my heart for them and will someday buy one that's in great shape...
