I know a guy on mustangevolution is selling his. He got cancer and has to get rid of it. He was asking 28k but said he will take 25k or so.

Also just look around on s197/modularfords/SVT

If that Mustang platform and 5.0 are so great, why can't you run the number without the band-aid blower?

I won't even embarass you with my 4th gen's info.
I know the old school ride has it covered. Imagine if I sprayed it just a little...

1987 Monte SS, **434 NA**, T400, stock suspension, 4.30 gear, MT drag radial, 3500 lbs with driver, T-tops, power everything & PUMP GAS

trophy timeslip 9.58 @138.75 with a 1.271 60'
in the heat 9.60's @137

Heck, it went a 1.41 60' on the REAR tires in the photo.
Your 5.0 couldn't run 1.41 in 60 feet unless it was dropped down a mineshaft.

I will stop making you look stupid if you promise to behave and be a positive voice in our forum.

Seriously, just go away or start being nice. We all know your 5.0 is fast and you love FOMOC now. That is OK. It is the bitterness that's unsettling.

As far as me. Ya had some issues with the tranny. So got rid it. I should see around 600whp or so. Running stock headers, and off road x pipe and pypes cat back. Later will get Kooks headers. Stock stall will be looking for mid-ish maybe a little lower 10's. Then in about a month(wife said have wait least that long) will get a 3800 stall. And do some suspension work. Should be running at track here in about 2 weeks. Car has 148 miles on it. Want to break in about 500-600 miles before I try break it.

I'm turning up my boost about 4 more lbs next month (tax time COMON already DFAS MY Pay!) and have a set of BBK LT's and ORY in my possesion that are going on soon wich will help as well since ATM I have Mac midtubes with high flow cats. Also adding a rear drag sway bar and some QA1 DA's to the front. should be looking at a 10.7 I'm guessing...not gona be able to fuccs with you I dont's believe lol
4lbs of boost and long tubes are gonna get you from 11.1@120mph to 10.7X@12Xmph? I don't think so brother.. To me your car should run a hell of a lot better with your mods than what it does! My old stock bottom end motor H/C/I went 10.90@123mph full weight and on stock suspension with a 1.46 60ft. Sorry ilovechevy1 but your car really isn't impressive for what your mods are.

Oh I get it, not another 5.0 video on LS1tech. And a "stock" one to boot.

Did you know racecar spelled backward is racecar? Them there's a lot of fancy motor parts listed.
I'm just a country boy running a TH400. What's a Liberty Gear transmission cost?
Did I see that 5.0 on a Jenny Craig, no it was a Weight Watcher's commercial. 3000lbs is quite a success story.
I am sure the $10.00 per gallon C 14+ racing gas defines "pain at the pump".

Well a 5.0 stock compared to any of your cars stock means an easy kill for the 5.0. Maybe you are jealous? 5.0s run well. Don't hate. Don't like posts or threads about them? Then don't read them

I am definitely not a hater of 5.0 and definitely not jealous. If I liked one, I am sure I would have bought one. It is difficult for me to understand what enjoyment Ohio gets spending his time trolling around negatively commenting on other peoples' personal accomplishments. Maybe he is insecure or needs constant attention. Or maybe he is just a douchbag. Either way it is very difficult to go anywhere on this forum without tripping over his big mouth shitty comments.

The issue with "Ohio" is he trolls around talking crap. I do not need an ego boost from mocking his grammar/spelling or his remedial grasp of the english language. I do not like him or his keyboard muscles. If he chooses to poke the bees' nest, then he should be able to accept the consequences. Ohio's posts reinforce the fact that HE is looking for an "ego boost". Bragging about what you SHOULD be able to do and his off topic, negative posts do not make him an asset to this GM LS1 based community.

I respect the performance of any efficient, well built vehicle. The 5.0 saved the Mustang GT from years of embarassment by the Mod engine.
Shouldn't it be as quick as it is? With 412 hp and 300-400 less pounds, a drag race friendly suspension/chassis and continual engineering development since 1964, the Mustang better be quicker or somebody at FOMOCO is losing their job.
Any person who has been racing, whether road, drag, circuit, etc... has had an epic lowest lap or quickest et or highest top speed. Experience has taught me that you should not base everday on that trophy timeslip. Any person with web access can search, find and post these epic events. A video may only prove it happened. The circumstances leading up to that event are only truly known by the owner/driver.

A forum is exactly that, a "forum". Being able to freely speak your mind is
one of rights that makes the United States a great place to live.

I'd be more impressed if your Monte Carlo ran those times with a 5 liter engine
(brand unimportant).
