I'll keep that in mind about the name As for the turbo, I definitely see your point. I like having low end power/torque too though But then again I dont plan on going out on the track and smoking ninjas or gixxers I've seen a '99 vette with an ATI pull a 9.4-something 1/4, and it was still street legal.

I like the simpsons quote better though Ahhh homer.

Very nice. Now what about streetability? The C5 I mentioned was driven to and from the track with plates and everything :-P Plus of course the engine was practically stock (blower plus exhaust and maybe intake). Mid 7s is nice, yes. Streetable? I wouldnt think so Thats what I like about superchargers, you can have fun on the street without having to do much to the engine and without having to rev it up

That's exactly why superchargers are more popular than turbos... However turbos do yield better times. I only commented because I don't think I've ever seens omebody say "Gotta get that turbo out of there and swap a blower in"..

Actually though, let me inform you that the King of the Hill competitors are street legal cars, they just are not economically smart to HAVE on the road!

i prefer either one, as long as i reach my goal in HP!

Turbo is the ONLY way to go IMO when you're talking forced induction. It took that turbo Mach 1 5psi to make 450rwhp while it would take my blower around 13psi. Superchargers are less efficient. They steal power to make power.

well, to you, money isn't as much of a problem, and I guess street drivability too. I also like the whine from a supercharger and the fact that you get boost instantly. I do agree though, that a turbo has higher potential than a correctly done up turbo setup...
