It's not about how much power you put down, it's where you put it down in the graph
Turbo cars have more average horsepower than blower cars... here's an example:RPM----Blower---Turbo
2000----100hp----100hp
3000----200hp----200hp
4000----300hp----450hp
5000----400hp----450hp
6000----500hp----450hp
Of course it's not very realistic, but you get the picture. Turbos generally produce better times with large-stroke V-8 powered cars because of the gobs of lowend torque, but they are significantly harder to tune and maintain than a blower setup, and are also much harder to install (Which is why blowers are more popular on the street than turbo cars).
Btw, please don't mention the name Hennessey around here. Most of us would love to stomp his ***** in.
