Not a dreamland, but certainly not reality. Stangs can be quick, but the WS6 still should have won both races.

Do some more mods to the car and a little practice then go get some revenge.

Please explain as well, i have seen quite a few mach's including rogers bone stock in the 13.2 to 13.3 land....... that is quite easy enough to defeat ws6's or any F-bods for that matter. but still the mach drivers have to be better then most for those times!

i say dreamland because for the most part i will give the win to the mach stock for stock AND he had tires.mine has ran decent times and im not realy a great driver.my buddies bone stock mach with him in it(3695) went 13.13 on the same night mine was running 13.30's.

with a tire on a mach its a 12 second car.

Well first off, I'm an LS1 owner, and we should always win!
But seriously, the GT with his mods was putting down what a LS1 dyno's stock. And the WS6 isn't stock.
Bronco, stock Mach 1 running 13.2? Means really really good driver and I've never heard of one going that quick stock. A SPEC Stage III makes a huge difference in M6 LS1's, plus the WS6 had other mods besides that. Would've been closer with the Mach than with the GT, but he still should've taken them both.

With tires running 12 sec? This is all new to me. Never heard before.

12 sec passes with a mach on a tire is not too tough to beat. the 13.2 through 13.5 come really easily with a mediocre driver. that means the stock ls1's need to get on top of their game just like what WS6 kid experienced. He gets more time behind the wheel, then he will be just fine!

Ws6kid, nice deaths! You got killed by a couple of MEAN stangs that were either heavily modified or modified with a good size shot of nitrous.

You LS1 people know nothing about your competition do you? A stock Mach 1 can and will beat a LS1 Camaro M6 or T/A M6. Before you start throwing horsepower out there read up. Mach 1's are making 320-337 BHP stock. Between 275 rwhp and 288 rwhp stock and 295 lbs/ft to 310 lbs/ft stock.. so for you magazine racers that's 337 horse power and 362 torque STOCK I know LS1's are underated also but keep in mind the mach 1 has lower gears (3.55) and is lighter. Mach 1's have ran high 12's stock down to the tires and with a decent driver most run very low 13's. I personally have only raced one LS1 powered car on the freeway ( a WS-6 ) And was dead even with him from 60 mph to 125 mph where we shut down and my car was stock with only 1200 miles on the odometer.

Thanks for your input. Most of us know that Machs are strong runners and when stock, can go toe to toe with LS1's.

A stock LS1 f-bod has been known to be able to get into the high 12's as well... You have made some good points though... Just that stock vs stock... its not a given that the mach will win... The two cars are very close in speed, and it usually comes down to just who is the better driver...

Exactly, I have a lot of respect for both cars and I am in constant awe of the LS1's potential

I wouldn't waste your time trying to right all of the uneducated people out there. You'll be here for awhile if you try!

You see this is the hole problem . You were not racing any lt1's. Back in the day when it was the lt1's vs the mustanges there was no surprises. The LT1 WINS every time. But now they got this new age ls1. Sure its a nice little motor but if it was so great then ws6 kid would have destroyed them in his races. But it is obvious the ls1 is a little overated.

LT1'S RULE THE TRACK AND ROAD ALL DAY LONG
