i'm no fan boy but cobalts are no joke. i'm pretty sure that one has never been dyno'd. one of y boys has the broadest , nicest powerband I have ever seen from any car. torque like a V8 and Hp like a 4cl. the **** looks crazy. he has only lost like a few races the way it sits now. Mostly due to gearing. The owners of cobalts you all know go to the wrong shops lol. I think my boy has one of the baddest cobalt in the entire US. I bet your cobalt friends know him lmao.

Ya my buddy has a turbo'd cobalt as his DD. I ran him in my cam only car and was only able to pull about a 1 1/2 cars on him from a 60 roll to about 120 giving him the hit. His only has a tune and is boosting around 22psi I think. It's the most fun car to drive IMO.
If I had to guess his car traps around 110-112. Also he doesn't shift like he's heading to the grocery store. Even when he was stock his car ran right with my dads new 5.0 from a roll. I think he just got a freak car lol.

We recently raced again, this time he was at 24 Psi. It was a much closer race this time, traction was still an issue for me but he was right on my quarter panel the whole time. Car is definitely moving out now.

I'm changing the gears in the rear. I'm running 4.10 right now and there is just no chance of traction in any gear, also I top out at about 125-130mph in 4th. I'm going with a street friendly 3.42 gear ratio

Definitely no joke, there are just alot of people who think their stock Cobalts are performing at a level far above where they really are. Like most platforms, the guys with the truely fast ones know where they sit and don't delude themselves generally.
Come again?
