I'm a new member, so I don't have much/any respect here, but I'll give it my damndest. I live on the OBX of NC. We have a car club, 85 members strong baby, err... it use to be. 3 of my closest bro's drive F-bodies, 2-drive Fox-body stangs. I hope to be getting my Z pretty damn SOON!!! Gotta go out and get financing. The point of my post here is to attempt to define rice. On weekends in the summer, my bros and I go out "rice-hunting". Rice-hunting is where we take out the drag cars and attempt to lure the sheep into racing, then putting them into their place. Rice on the Outerbanks... We RARELY have cars that can put up a decent fight. Most of the cars are 16 second Honda's with fart cans and wings that have more surface area than a Boeing 777. The paint is brighter than viewing the sun with binoculars and "rims" that need to be melted down and forged into I-beams. I know a guy that I was in highschool with that drives a yellow v6 new style stang. I refer to his car and him as rice. Let me explain why. I'm a gear-head, motor-head, whatever you wish to call it. I will make anything I have go fast. Currently working on a Navigator, laugh as you must, but when I hit 12's, I deserve some respect. Anyways, I ask this guy about his car sometimes. I asked him one day what all he had, and his response was, everything but supercharger and something else, don't remember. So I ask "heads?", reply, no, "cam?", nope, "headers?", nope, "forged internals?", what do you mean, "con-rods, pistons, etc.?" nope, "throttle body?", nope, "tuned?" nope. So what this cam down to was, he was willing to talk ****, and tell us how he works stock GT mustangs (yeah, and my *** is green), but when you get technical he ain't got the no-how to get the go-flow. Rice is the absence of common sense. So please Turbo LS, don't come on a board that I enjoy reading and members that I respect and attempt to tell us to not use the word rice or stop dissing crappy cars that can't hold their own against my navigator, yes, it races, and wins, Ford 5.4L baby... Goes to the Bristol Motor Speedway and drags when I have time. And stop stealing threads. One more thing, this is the section for races... I rarely see rice references on the other sections.
Enjoy all

Meikeric,
For your first post you sure came in here blastin . There's really no reason to add fuel to the fire now. TurboLS seems to have straightened out. Now what's your problem?
We all know full well what rice is here. After reading TurboLS's subsequint postings I am less inclined to beleive that he drives rice. (Don't make me look like an idiot for saying this TurboLS)
Now I'd like to add one other point to your rambling. If that overweight lane hoarding Navigator that you are piloting is running: dubs, spinnaz, or any other mad tyte over 18" rim on all four corners; you are driving rice. Rice is more of a state of mind of the individual behind the wheel. What he/she chooses to adorn their vehicle with. Stickers, odd paint jobs, and oversized wings and exhaust tips are only clues to the person driving the car.
Now please, calm down, take your Ritalin, smoke a bol or whatever you do.
TurboLS didn't attack you personally
This post of yours will not earn you any points to get into the STF
If you forgot to read my post, I straightend Turbo out earlier.
You failed in your attempt to do it better than I did.
Turbo thanked me for straightening him out.

Later,
Tony

Alright, cool.

Sorry to call your ride a overweight lane hoarding Navigator. You just hit a nerve with your first post. No harm meant by that.

turbo...because we (americans and them LS1's) tend to be so much better on a 95 percentile factor we continue to look down on them if you are in this 5% that can hang good for you but if it looks like rice I believe you'll be called rice on this forum, you're in a foreign country kid you're here to prove yourself to US

Don't apologize, you're right. It is an overweight lane hoarding Navigator. Ever try to push 6,000 lbs? That's overweight.

Not meaning to start any **** here but isnt this considering jacking a post?

e.g. you already settled your dispute take it to pms if you must continue your banter...

and btw nice job putting the distance down. I'd give him props though if he held even half way close to such a high speed.

go to advanced options when you are posting. Go to attachments. and then you browse your comp and upload your pic. but it can only take a certain size.

another way you can do it is have your pic hosted. and then you take the URL address of the pic after it is hosted. Go to your post and put....

Hey Brad, you dont really need to lie on the internet, its not like all these guys actually know you...I like the whole part about the 93 Eclipse with the 5 speed in your sig that you dont have...Wanting to buy one doesn't count as owning one...Im guessing the sotry is probably made up too, since I don't think you have the guts to take it up to 120 in the middle of Brighton...and if you were going that fast, both of you guys are dumb for endangering the lives of other motorists...As for the whole rice thing, you're the one with a fake ram-air hood and aftermarket chrome wheels with horrible tires on them...Have fun with your automatic, but I think I'll enjoy my stick shift ...
