Maybe... maybe not... if your buddy isn't running a standalone ECU there is no 2 step with boost on the Launch Control... Try it out...lol. Here is vid of my buddy's GTR...

From what i have heard this GT500 makes over 800rwhp and cuts 9.8's in the quarter at 140ish. The GTR gave him 4 and the brake...

Bad *** GTR.

GT500 had no chance from a dig on the street. Traction is not his friend. You can here him hit limiter while trying to go spinning.

Either way Don't think it would have helped.

Ya still not working on street with no prep and that much power. With less power I have hard time hooking on the street on 305 DR's.

I imagine. As said I don't think traction would have helped either. That GTR is nasty.

I'd add a meth kit, a smaller pulley and a new tune. The Z should easily make north of 800whp with that Novi 2000.

Those numbers look pathetic for that setup. I'd expect A LOT more out of a 402 with a Novi 2K on it.

It's only on 9psi. If I had a fuel system and smaller pulley I could make 800whp. I got two builds going on right now and I'm not made of money. Also my fuel setup is almost maxed out at that power. 60# injectors and an LPE fuel pump with a KB boost a pump can only go so far. Not to mention I'm not running meth at all.

At my boost level and cubes it shouldn't be too much of an issue. When I go bigger I'm definitely getting some meth.
