TBSS vs 350z
So a buddy of mine called me out in the Trailblazer, he wanted to test his 03 6spd vert 350z with longtubes headers, exhaust, intake and intake plenum spacer, This is all I believe he has aside from his 75 shot nitrous kit but it wasnt used since he wants to tune the car for the spray first, which should be this coming thursday. I had a passenger which was recording, he was alone in the 350z. All 4 runs were from 15-20mph since he didnt want to do digs. I pulled on him on all the runs except one that he took off on the second honk and let off before I passed him. He said he wanted a rematch after his tune on spray, I said, "no problem but it will be from a dig"

Thanks guys. He will be getting tuned on Thursday on the 75, I'm a bit skeptical that he'll break 300whp since he has no bottle heater to bring/keep bottle pressure up. BTW, he asked me today to run him in my Altima SER since he wanted to win a race......I still beat him on all 3 runs.

Oh and BTW I've beat quite a few 350z's in my bolt on Mazdaspeed 3.

350z's are slow but I don't think they are slow or low enough hp to not break 300whp with a 75 shot. Stock early 350's dyno like 220-230whp and the HR's dyno 230-240whp. A 75 shot should put him a little over 300whp.

That sounds like a strong little crossover, got any vids of it in action?

Yea, I'd give it a couple weeks til that video blows up with Z lovers. Hopefully I can meet up with a local guy that owns an HR 350z(08) that claims his runs 13.1 stock because there are videos on YouTube that prove it and I also need to get my rematch vs a friends g37, he beat me by 2 cars by 100 before the tune.

I hear that. My friend has a nismo 370z. I'm going to plan on running that when it stops being cold as hell outside and people want to pull out their good cars and play.

Awesome race man, its hilarious how a SUV owns a "coupe" with LTs and exhaust, the 370z's arent THAT slow tho . My buddy has a 2006 TBSS, Its a damn fine car. I usually race him for fun, he has the same mods that you do but without the tune , I always win whenever I race him, even from a dig.
