That is what he had doen to his car. He also had the front sway bar removed. He just posted that.

As far as full bolt on cars they have been trapping all different speeds across the country. And different air different speeds. 60* weather change will play a huge role.

Couple other guys I know went 11.8@118 with just tune and rear tire in Cecil. They also had really good air. Sorry your car don't run as well as the new 5.0's with as little as mods. Technology is a bitch some times.

As mentioned there was another manual 5.0 with full bolt ons that ran not much better then him. Driver had a lot to do with that. Hell he was only cutting 1.7 60fts when in my manual I was able to cut 1.5 with same mods as him. He will have his full exhuast/stall/gears in the car the next week or so and we see how it does. He expecting low 11's at 123ish since it should be warmer. Hell he didn't even expect the high 11 or the constant 118 traps. Let alone the one 120 trap.
Ok weather does play a roll but ughhh your telling me that if I go to california and run in 75 degree weather then go to fl in 40 degree weather with other conditions about the same I'll pick up 6-10mph? Okkk in that case then a lot of of cars would vary by that trap speed or more around the country which they dont. 2-3 mph ok but not 6-10.....

Once again none of us were actually there to validate any of these claims. Until I actually see one in the real world and not just from you do that with those mods I'll continue to subscribe the fact that a stock 5.0 is good for a 112 trap and 117 ish with bolt on mods.... You do realize that by saying a stock 5.0 with tires will trap 118 is also saying it would or should beat out a c5z06 or ls3 c5. Which once again there have been many videos to prove how that race really goes.

Also I'd love to have some links to those full weight ls1 cars that run 10's cuz I havent seen em.

The 5.0 is a great car and is without a doubt the best bang for the buck but come one people lets gets down to earth with what they are capable with just a tune...

The car is tuned. The 5.0's have picked up as much as 35whp with just a dyno tune.

As far as traps my car and several here have trapped 112-114 bone stock. The guy lost about 100lbs with tires/sway bar.

As far as weather 95 to 30 is a huge difference. 3500+ DA when I ran my 119 trap with to his DA of -500-900 is a major difference.

As far as 10 sec full weight fbody's a week ago few guys in this section swore they ran low 11's- high 10's with mild cam and bolt ons at full weight. That it was really easy and most guys don't do it cause they have wqrong set up or can't drive.

Not only that.

BAMA tuning offers a warranty. SOme dealers will still warranty cars with tunes as well. My delaer replaced my tranny in my manual car with cold air/tune/exhuast/gears on it. They also fixed a misfire issue cause of a bad coil.

Keep telling yourself that bro, trust that if you want to. As for me any vehichle that I spend that many hard earned dollars on will have the factory warranty intact but hey thats just me...

I had a slow *** 07 4.6 with a tune and I had plenty of warranty work done . I just returned the tune to stock via sct tuner and the dealer accused me of having a tune, but couldn't prove it.

Cool story man, care to prove that since I don't know. Any tuned 5.0 in my circle ( a big circle) and including many many posted horror stories confirms ALOT of those cars are not getting warrantied if tuned. Doesn't the sam go for the eco-boost and the taurus, I may be missing some? But idk Im just a gm owner.

Geuss your circle isn't big enough. There has been many posted where ford has denied and many posted about ford covering them and ones that BAMA has covered cause they was running there tunes.
