fix/clear codes these cars have dtc codes equal to atari from the 70s

In the end, it should be pretty quick, but it's a bit frustrating. When I put a tire on it, it should fly out of the hole.
Not knocking the Pontiac it runs damn good . But your fox at the track on some sticky's will be rapage for that Pontiac the way it sits now that is. Your car is not set up for roll racing from what I can tell.

The tires on it now are 275/40R17, so probably 25.6-26" depending on the brand, wear, etc.

I would have loved to do a low roll with him in first or a dig to really show what his car could do, but without traction there was no point. I'm sure there will be more runs to come

I just love how diverse the matchups have been where you are. Audi, Cadillac, Nissan, Pontiac, Chevy, Ford, Subaru, and so on. I personally don't care who beats what because it's nice to see all these different cars with different mods run each other. The GT-R versus CTS-V will be fun to watch as they continue to mod. As good as your G8 runs, it's cool to see a Fox body that's still a work in progress pull like that.

Thanks, we do our best to put together decent races. I enjoy lining up different cars, especially when we don't know what the results are going to be. I also like playing into a car's strengths. If a car is running 4.30 gears then I don't ask for a 60 mph roll, and if it's fwd on street tires then I don't demand a dig.

What's so point? Does the ecu not have an FMEM mode? If any primary sensor on the car is malfunctioning it will throw the ecu into limp mode.

105 would be about right for a auto with 4.10 @ 6000. I could only run 122 with the same height tire @ 6800 with a stick.

We'll see what it is. I'll have the car back in the shop sometimes over the next couple of weeks to get a couple more things sorted out. It might have something closer to a 4.30 ratio. I was messing around with a gear speed calculator last night, and it looks like 4.30 is about right. I think 3.55 would be the perfect ratio. Based on my estimates, it would have the car top out around 130-135 on a 26" tire.

In terms of the codes, I'll have to check that out too. I feel like the car isn't running right, so maybe that's another possible reason. It's only 'quick' because it's light. Ran a brand new M3 the other night. 80-105 I pulled about 2-2.5 cars, so it's okay, but the whp numbers aren't high by any means.

Could be a 4.30. Your estimates of the 3.55 would be close. I can trap 130+ now with 3.90 @ and my limiter moved to 7000 on a similar tire.

It's not a bad idea, in my case the car's ACT had been disconnected and plugged, I ran codes and got a 54(act circuit open) and 98 (ecu hard hault, Ecu in limp mode), located the connector, put a sensor in and both codes cleared. I got the code reader on amazon for $25, quite useful.

I can't wait to see how that Fox runs when you get it all sorted out. Gonna be a beast from a dig with traction and the minor tweaks everyone is talking about.

Definitely love the fox bodies.
You will have alot of fun with the car once you get it dialed in.
Get more videos when you make some more progress with it.

Somebody knew what they were doing with that choice of heads, and the intake. They compliment each other nicely. That car should make every bit of what the car in your sig did. I don't know about it actually weighing 2800 unless it's been lightened, though. It's probably going to weigh closer to 3000.

I think 4.10s are probably in it. You're right about 4.30s if your convertor's not slipping at all, or if you're actually spinning it to the stock limiter at 6250. Keep in mind that the stock tachometer is not to be trusted.

With the added weight of the blower it could be a little over 3000.
