WHITEKNIGHT '01...i agree with you, they are sexy and at least you have something to challenge a Z06 with..but a 300 at what 4,200 lbs and an auto. from a roll against a modded Z06...like BLKNSS said..''nice slaughter''...i wouldn't even bother, there is a big difference between a 12 sec. WS6 and a 10 sec. Z06...that is why i couldn't believe some idiot actually tried...

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) the 300 only comes with a 5.7 or bigger.

You really shouldn't go high rpm or WOT when the engine is cold, let the parts get warm and get to operating size before you do.

There is a base model 300 that has a v6. The 300c has the 5.7, and srt8 has the 6.1.

New model srt8 cars have been given the 6.4

I actually have a buddy with an 01 z06, full exhaust and tune I'm going to play with this summer. Should be interesting but I think he will still get me unless I do gears/drop some weight.

I'm an M6... mods are all in the sig and will have dyno tune done soon at Speed Inc. I think he should get me but it may end up being close if I get close to the same results I've seen on here out of mine.

My curb is just under 3400lbs and I'm a massive 150lbs.. he is a little heavier than me at 170 I think but his car is 3130lbs so I'm still down unless I end up making a little more power. With his gearing and the weight advantage it's his race to lose.
