LOL!

2SS, have you seen the dyno sheet for the turbo fox? Those blocks dont do too well over 500hp, with it at 750 that thing is a time bomb with a pretty short fuse if its not an aftermarket block.

Btw, just wondering but are in Brazil? Ive seen you mention youre in South America and something like the third world sucks?

So the gt500 doesnt come stock with a locking diff if you dont order the performance package? or is that just a better locker?

ZL1 vs Gt500

Weight-4,120 vs 3,850
Horsepower-580 vs 650
Tires-305 vs 285
Handling-ZL1
1/4 mile-Gt500

It depends what you want in a car really. The ZL1 will ride much better with the magnetic suspension and will corner 10x better for sure. Speaking stock vs stock the ZL1 will likely get to 60 faster and after that the gt500 will pull with a slight hp advantage and 270lb less weight. Lets all not forget how FORD likes to advertise hp a little bit high while CHEVY usually down plays the hp numbers a little bit so not to **** off the vette owners. I think the Horsepower will actually be very close on a dyno, but the weight advantage will give the Gt500 an advantage....

Only thing I would really say is Ford has been pretty accurate with numbers on the new stangs. The GT500 was rated at 550 and made 480-490 stock to wheels. The GTrated at 412 put average of 375 down. How is that rating high?

Biggest advantage I like with ZL1 is can get in auto. A nice stall and tire and it should move out pretty good.

any insight on the diff option? I really hope that a performance vehicle has a locking rear stock and not something which needs to be ordered as an option for extra money.

I wouldnt buy either car If I wanted something that could turn well. How many Mustangs or Camaros do you see at AutoX's or even track days?

Not very many

I see mustangs at track days all over.... not so many camaros but mustangs of all gens are out at nearly every even i've been to.

I have started to see some 5th gen camaros at some events, but i think those are a better starting point then the camaros that came before it for a easy track vehicle.

Far as racking it does come with one. The SVT package gets upgraded clutch and such.
