Either way, IMO 2 things... 1, You may be completely out of that league at the moment... That would be like me racing a 2012 GTR in my header only 06 CTS-V. 2, You can always throw money into the go-fast parts.

I have no objections with the 2nd. Just be careful you don't keep getting reeled in like this. Might end up with - street credit. LOL jk dude. Either way, good death. If he pulled a GTR, (which is similar to pulling a Mustang 5.0 here on SRK) you were in for trouble either way.
By no means did I get reeled into that one...believe me I know that my car was alot slower. He pulled up and threw a rev and I heard the Pratt & Whitney jet turbine...I knew I was gonna lose.

I know what you are saying. I could take one of those things with the neon too, but for a bolt on F-body, it's a righteous death.

There is no 2011 M5 and the F10 M5 is not available in the US yet.

New (F10) 550i has a 4.4L TT V8 (similar setup to the new M5). Maybe that's what you raced.

The DCT M3 is faster than a traditional manual M3. In fact any car with a clutchless manual transmission (manual transmission, with a clutch or two, shifted by the computer) is faster than the same car with a traditional manual.

I've seen countless BMW's here in Miami and I can assure that it was a F10. I wouldn't post a death from a regular M series or standard BMW. I really posted this race to also see if anyone knew if that was a real car or just some dumb *** being funny. We have several v-tec/hemi Nissan sentras here in Hialeah.

F10 does NOT mean M5

The new 5 Series, and any variation of it, is an F10 car.

In any event, unless the car was purchased in Europe and shipped here (in which case it would be right hand drive), it was not an F10 M5. You can't even price them on BMW's website yet...

And to be clear, I'm not calling BS on your story whatsoever. People do anything and everything to cars and it's definitely possible someone took a 550i and modified it to resemble the new M5 (and yes, people are already modding them with good results). I'm just trying to point out that, chances are, it was not an F10 M5.

The car was white with the emblems blacked out and say in the top left hand corner saying F10. The window were blacked out so I couldn't see inside. I never got to really see the front of the car as he was to busy putting a boeing 747 on me.

The F10 emblems were put on by the owner. My bet would be it was a modified 550i.
See this for reference:

You guys want to see something cool (and you're bored lol) check out the new 550d///M. Seriously fast diesel 5 series, but US will not be getting it.

Whatever it was, that **** also beat what I believe was his buddy in a gtr. It was the probably the fastest and quietest (for the power it had)car I've seen. No spinning or lag from the turbos. It literally sling shot away. On me and walked the gtr with no problem.

I am sure a stock m5 would not beat a gtr. there are 2011 m5s, I drive them from time to time. The manual m3 felt faster to me than the manumatic, IMO. I would never by a manumatic it is not real driving.

Not a bad death. For those confused on the F10 M5's ability. I watched this for the first time yesterday and it was hard to swallow. But in all reality. I love M5board.com's videos and trust them more than anyone else's on youtube. Always good drivers.

not suprised by that vid at all. If the M5 was able to go higher in speeds the Z06 would've been in trouble since they pull really well at higher speeds. The Older M5's were able to go past 200+mph and one vid showed it can go 211 lol. They have great gearing to say the least and shine up top. To keep up with a Z06 is amazing and bmw did a great job with the new M5.

not surprised the new m5 keep up with the z06. i mean the z06 hasnt really changed since 2006. 6 years running and still a benchmark. thats awesome. not really a bmw fan, but much happier to see a twin turbo v8 instead of that v10. new m5's could become nasty sleepers. gotta love twin turbo v8s from the factory.
