I haven't ridden a Busa or 14. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot but it's probably not my cup of tea just because of the bulk of the bike.

I'm hoping the misfire issue will be troubleshooted and the bike all set and ready for the season by late next week.

I hope to be ready for you and PSM next weekend, but if for some reason that doesn't happen and you eat PSMs 600, we can set it up soon after for sure.

Yea they are bigger and heavier but you can still corner with them. Yea it's not a 600 or 1000 but people make them out to be Harley's. I love mine. It's smooth, powerful, comfortable and big. 600's and 1000's are too cramped for me. They are great if your 5'5" and 150lbs lol. It makes for a good street bike. Not really any safe places to drag a knee on the street so you can't corner like crazy anyway.

I think i'm going to order some "600" stickers for the tail of the bike.

Yeah the smaller bikes definitely aren't built to be comfortable. I know the big bikes can still turn, but i plan on doing some track days/road racing with mine which the 600/750/1000 frame is more suited to.

Yea driving a sportbike on the street is pretty boring. The track is awesome. Such a different feeling and wayyyy more fun, not to mention safe!!

Maybe where you live there aren't any good mountain roads, but not over here. Here is a couple quick vids as an example:

Yea don't do that, they are touring bikes anyway. Only go straight lol. Yea our roads are filled with potholes, sand and debris. You can't beat conditions at a track. If anything was to go wrong I'd rather not hit a pole, guardrail or car!!

Yes im sure. 4200 is the price of the kit. Ill need to pick up injectors and a boost a pump as well. Im also going to grab a wideband and boost gauge just for common sense safety. So probably 5500 for ALL parts. As far as power output. Its going to be put onto a boss motor with a full exhaust, long tubes and all. Will probably be in the 440whp area before it sees any boost. The biggest pulley for that blower is 3.8 inches. And depending on what it revs too (prob 7500) it will touch 10psi. 8 on the GT motors that are only turning 6900 or so. Heres a vid of a D1 procharged boss with a full exhaust. Making 640whp on 7.5psi. The novi2200 is a bit bigger and might push some more boost then the D1 spun at the same rpm. With that blower its going to be difficult to make less then 650whp. I want it to run solely on 93 octane with no meth and have no chance of any excessive heat or detonation. So ill be running a very very conservative tune, even if it loses me 50hp.

Heres also a vid of the JPC car (these guys are the 5.0 king. They have the fastest current 5.0 and the highest dynoing 5.0 and i just bought there headers . This car is running a stock coyote motor and around 9psi. Makes 660whp. Same car has made 802whp and went 9.34 at 150. Currently makes 1032whp with a built motor on 20psi

yea... cant remember cubic inch size. Hes running pump gas. Twin 70mm turbos on a built sbc. The motor made 560hp on the engine dyno before any boost. Running 6psi right now and i believe it dynoed in the mid 600s at the tire. Its built to make around 1200hp but its a fresh build so hes on extremely low boost. To go by ethans bike like that is fast, especially him starting up a gear. You can hear how long it takes for him to actually go into boost. Once he does, its game over for ethan

Yea I think I saw it with the TT. Wasn't sure about anything other than TT V8 lol. It moves. Not for nothing but the CBR1100xx is not fast!!! Top end they aren't terrible for what they are but it's probably just as fast if not slower than a 05-06 636, nevermind a 1000

636:

CBR1100:

What really matters is this.

VBOX:
2011 GSXR750 Stock 60-130: 6.3 seconds
2010 R1 Raven Stock 60-130: 6.4 seconds
1998 CBR1100 Bolt ons 60-130: 7.2 seconds
403ss Camaro that trapped 128 60-130: 9.1 seconds.

I would hardly call the CBR "not fast". Its fast. Its considerably faster then a 600cc bike. He trapped 130mph with it when it was bone stock and he was learning how to ride. And that cbr time was record with a 230lb rider. The r1 raven and gsxr750 were both 180lb riders. All 3 could ride. If anything, the kid on the cbr was the worst of the 3 riders. The fastest weve seen on STEVES vbox was 60-130 in 5.0 seconds flat on Paulos GSXR1k modded. 5.0 is roughly 150+mph in the quarter. If you can beat that cbr, you have a fast bike/car. Bottom line, the vbox doesnt lie. 8 tenths of a second slower then a brand new r1 raven with a lighter rider for a bike thats 14 years old is amazing. Give credit where its due man.

Joes was a real r1 raven. Sahands was the painted one

O and I raced the newest Boss tonight... and Im still the boss . Surprisingly for a few bolt ons, my car has a strong pull.

Beans came out to race the freshly tuned turbo cobra... Cobra only made 567whp... yet almost ran over Beans on his 750 in the race lol. Scary ****. He has them on vid. Im pretty much freaking out the whole time. Beans got out on the cobra about 2 cars or so because the cobra was breaking up (too much fuel from the meth on the hit). Beans had to get in our lane to avoid the Semi in front of him. As the cobra cleared up from the fuel, and started pulling hard, it was catching beans pretty damn hard and we almost ran him over. I was praying he wasnt going to lift because if he did, it would have been ugly. The cobra literally jacked up on the brakes and was still catching beans while on the brakes. Cobras fast... however.... may be broken. Sounds like it may have a rod knock. Hoping its not and its something simple. Its hard to tell only because the car has just an open down pipe. U can only hear the noise in the cabin. We will see what turns up and hopefully all is well

567whp... on a dyno where 550-600whp cars run 8s

I've watched the clip like 15 times. I knew it was close, but after seeing it on video i don't think i want it posted on the web. It's sobering to see how close that actually was.

I'd run him again any time when the motor is fixed so he can destroy me in a clean run.

Watching the vid we both misjudged how hard he was pulling me in. I had the room when i made the decision to go into his lane, but that car pulls so damn hard i never realized how quickly he was closing the gap. It's clear in the vid that he would have flown by me like i opened a parachute if we had the room to let it play out. I didn't realize his closing speed, and judging by when he lifted in the vid it surprised him too.

I seriously almost got obliterated. If i would have lifted there's no doubt I'd be dead right now. It's hard to see in the video because the camera was bobbled at the closest point, but it really looks like you guys were within 3-5 feet of my tail under full braking while i was still pinned and we had to be approaching 150mph. It's nuts that he stood on the brakes and he was still coming up on me while i was wide open...crazy top end pull to build that kind of steam.

Like you said a few times in the video about a minute before the run. "This is ******* stupid, we're on the wrong road for this".

His car really sounds like rod knock. I hope we're wrong but i think that motor is hurt.

I'd run him again any time when the motor is fixed so he can destroy me in a clean run...on a better road.
Yea i like the loop that we do. Its clean and plenty of straights with no traffic. Y he wanted to race like that i have no idea. Plus i just wanted no part of getting in that car. If u could, post the vid on youtube of the knock. And just send me the link. I wanna see how it sounds through the gopro
