you need to work for GM or Ford so we can get these "street tires" as an option from the factory lol

You could care less? I find that hard to believe.

NiteRider...that is a sweet ride you have in your sig, by the way!
Anyway...it seems like Stoppy's ET is bothering an awful lot.If you just let it slide and give him and his MACH the proper accolades, you will not be making yourself so agitated.
Regardless of what you have experienced in your area with MACH 1s, they can be modded with just bolt-ons to run hard, like it or not. Like LSX cars, some will run harder than others based on the tune and the performance parts they have installed. If you have run into some slower ones, then that is not indicative of what all are like. Believe me, I have run into my share of slower LSX cars also. It happens. Stoppy is an individual and so is his MACH. Does not make sense to stereotype all cars based on one.

I have ran many mach's. From back in 2007 up until now. I know exactly what they can and can not do. Stopsign trys to downplay his mods thats what we dont like.

Nite...Stoppy is not downplaying his mods...it is so easy to see (at least for me) how he runs the ET that he does.

His MACH is lite to begin with (3400+/-), he is running a low gear and leaving at 5K...Do the math....
The key is that his MACH 1 can take it. How many cars can drop the clutch at 5K and hold together? Would you do that with an LSX car with that rear?

You do not always need Hp to drop your ET...Weight, gearing and tires are another way. Problem is that to many people are hung up on Dyno numbers and fail to see the big picture.

Stoppys car runs good for what it is. Mine runs good for what it is. Stock vs stock tho, the srt8s and l99s will have the edge vs a mach.

Bottom line is he runs 12.6 or 12.5 or w/e @108 thats nothing special. For him to say he can beat Me, GTO's, and 5th Gen SS's with a 108 trap speed is dumb. Sure he may be able to out launch a rookie driver with his 4.56 and drag slicks but against someone like me he will get pulled. 108 isnt enough plain and simple.
